Warning....please read all the reviews before updating your Kindle app to version 4.1. I wish I had! This app went from good to hopeless in one little update. It started crashing the minute I updated it. A friend called to warn me but she was too late. The same thing happened to hers. I deleted it and started again. It runs very slow and doesn't load many books onto the device before it crashes. I like to have my books on my iPad and not just in the cloud because I am not always near a wifi connection. Things were perfect before the update but they bragged about all the improvements to the app. Needless to say I am not a happy camper and hope they fix it soon.
Once they update the apps, you can no longer get the older version from the app store. I hadn't done a backup through itunes on the computer. My computer monitor is dead, so until I replace it, I have been using my iPad. You have given me an idea though.....I do have an older iPad with the older version. Time to go monitor shopping!
You know you can download older version from Other resources.Where they put updates for those who can't use data always to update the apps
Nin, I have searched and can't find these sources you speak of. Would my iPad have to be jailbroken for this?
