New & Nook STR review (updated 01/25/12)
« on: December 27, 2011, 04:43 AM »
Stumbled upon this site while searching for ebooks. Thank you so much to everyone who has shared books here  Here is a list of my Library 1 books. Im hoping to have library 2 done soon i've just gone from the Nook Classic to the Nook STR, not happy with the shelving function, loss of music playing, or the fact that they introduce it as 2 GB of space without telling you that you actually only get 2MB of space for books not purchased from B&N, the rest of the space is on a hidden partition that you can't get to unless you root your Nook and void the warranty  needless to say i have to retitle all of my books to get them to come up in the correct order and save them to an SD card. Thankfully Calibre has a search and replace funtion that makes if fairly simple and less time consuming if you know how to use python coding.
