Nook can do that, as long as you have the Nook app on your phone I have that feature also. I can read on the computer if I want, then switch to the Nook or my iPhone, and never lose my place. it automatically updates your spot for you. I love it.
I have a Pandigital Novel that is an android tablet also. I love it! I can go online, play games, and read my books.
I have a kindle. I've never had another e-reader, but I can tell you what I like about the Kindle.1. Customer support is great. You get a free email account at amazon and by sending your various files (i.e. RTF,. PDF, TXT, MOBI) files to your free email account, and typing "convert" in the RE line, within a couple of minutes you get your file back, converted to AZW.2. The Kindle reads several kinds of files - not epub - but many others.3. You can do screen shots with it. Not sure if you can do that with the other reader. 4. Collections are very easy to manage if you use Calibre5. If you drive a lot, you will love it. I plug mine into my car stereo and it reads to me when I drive.6. You can use yahoo IM with Kindle7. Kindle has a web browser. You should also check out the link below. It shows you all the other things that are available to the Kindle. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
