I totally love Sweetward, though I don't mind a well written possessiveward (did I even spell that right?) But there are others who won't touch either. And so far I flounced The Perfect Wife because Charlie feeling up his daughter just grossed me out. I haven't been able to start EP yet, because I don't think I'm ready for Mafiaward.

Though I think we can all agree that bad writing is just bad! *can I shudder here or do I need to "shutter"*

it's funny, I can put up with a lot of spelling & grammar errors, but Bella shuttering drives me batshit crazy. Unless she's a photographer. Or closing up a house before a hurricane. Yeah. $:-\$

it's funny, I can put up with a lot of spelling & grammar errors, but Bella shuttering drives me batshit crazy. Unless she's a photographer. Or closing up a house before a hurricane. Yeah. $:-\$

Oh shuttering drives me insane also. Thankfully I haven't seen that mistake often anymore....used to see it all the time.

Pretty much any mix up of any heterographs drive me absolutely crazy. I started (then promptly flounced) a fic last night where the author kept using two for too and you're for your. These make me cringe and im usually flouncing.

Yeah, That was a horrible one, couldn't get past the part when he was watching her change and asking her not to be shy!!!

You didn't read past that part in A Perfect Wife? Good thing, you'd have been scarred by the rest of it if you thought that was bad. To this day I wish I hadn't read it.

Yeah, That was a horrible one, couldn't get past the part when he was watching her change and asking her not to be shy!!! WTF?

But what's funny is this story is a favorite of a number of people here. I sometimes wonder if I skip the first so many chapters & get to the Edward part, if there is actually a good story in there.....

that is why i ask to be spoiled in agnst filed fics.
if i know there is going to have rape i can get mentally prepared. it makes a lot of difference for me.

It was okay but nothing amazing. If the mistakes bother you that much I'd say it's not worth reading.

Whoa! I just INSTA-flounced a story uploaded on the "More than 152" thread, because of the sloppy prose. First, the reader meets Bella, who has what sounds like double-jointed teeth.

Big, milk chocolate eyes, small button nose, pouty pink glossed lips - her front teeth peaked out and bit down on her lower lip....

Then her smell:

I caught the faint smell of freesias and strawberries... and cinnamon buns and everything that was good in this life plus... something else all wrapped up into one. The scent almost brought me to my knees. and made me picture some kind of Glade-Spray threeway.

It was Reluctance by eye ree.
