Ok, this one just made my eyes roll back in my head:

" I had only ten minutes to make it too the bored meeting.."

I think this may be a Freudian slip? Since almost every meeting I go to is boring.....

Off topic ( ), is the personalised greeting at the top new?

Right now, it says "Good Afternoon, Astro".

This morning, my time, when it was like 2am US time, it said "Hey Astro, you're up late".

I feel like I'm being monitored...

ETD: I thought I posted this about 3 hours ago but it only just went through - damn phone. I see you are also getting watched and judged.

Just to be clear....it's 29 degrees F outside. And my football team is getting solidly trounced. So good is questionable.

The story seems like just what I'm looking for right now, I'm just not sure if I'm gonna be able to get past the writing.

Another one who uses defiantly for definitely, mixes up too/to, talks about the Cullen's, severe run on sentences. I want to get out my red pen and fix it!

Maybe you should offer to be their proof reader! That way you get to read the story first and make it read-able for others.

I think this may be a Freudian slip? Since almost every meeting I go to is boring.....

My meetings used to be boring but now I'm the experienced person in the room and my clients expect me to have the solution for all their problems. So, being center stage, I'm not allowed to be bored, frustrated, short-tempered or lacking in ideas/knowledge. Luckily, I'm pretty good at flying by the seat of my pants. Once, the CEO of the company sat in on one of these meetings. I'd never met him and no one introduced him to me. After I found out who it was, I spent the rest of the meeting wracking my brain trying to remember whether I'd said anything inappropriate. The company is still my client, so I guess I was suitably professional.

I'm assuming it was Texas? I missed that game. Probably good since I'm not sure who i would cheer for...I do like red teams

Yeah, really? I mostly didn't care who one this one but Oklahoma was in their red uniforms.... but a closer game would have been more interesting.

But seriously, it's just embarrassing when mistakes are that bad! We can hardly cite the fandom as this great place for writers to start out if it seems like some sort of anti-literacy propaganda. I can't even imagine making those kinds of mistakes in everyday typing, let alone when 'writing' a story.

A likely tale! Clearly you're just trying to get in on the club of cool kids (ok, so me and demaris) that get personal messages on their header..

I've always been a huge Gary Oldman groupie, and thought him as Dracula was hot! hot! hot! He's a crazily good actor...Though I do have to wonder how we're going to keep all our British actors employed now that HP has ended!

Well, am off to the parlor to have my hair done for dinner with my hubby's HS friends and wives. Need to color my hair as the white is growing much too fast than it used to. Sigh, sucks to show aging...

Not Texas, I went to a small school in Houston. We called it the Harvard of the South, but the official name is Rice University. We rarely make it to bowl games. They've been in 3 since I've cared and this is the first one they've won. I don't know if they'll be in another in my lifetime, much less win one, so I need to crow while I can.

My in-laws are big OU fans, since that's my mother-in-law's alma mater. Plus, I think it's almost a requirement when you live in Oklahoma.

See, the problem I have with Aro is that in the books he is described as old with papery looking skin.... So, yeah, ewww.

I guess if all you've seen is the movies? Aro might be okay. Just a little creepy.

Studies into how we read, and how we teach reading, indicate that most often, we look at the first letter and last letter only of a word, and then use textual cues to figure out the right word.

Maybe I'm feeling a little paranoid (you know, with Drypen and now Mr.Admin watching over me) but every time I have read a comment about Aro, I read Astro.

I then go back and re-read, to figure out what I've done to offend, and then realise that the world does not always revolve about me.

Hypersensitive much?

Anyway, book Aro AND movie Aro are creepy.
Astro - not so much! Pervy, but definitely not creepy - I hope!!!
