So with ficlab it takes the cover image on fanfiction and adds it on the cover of the downloaded story?

Yes, it does. I've attached an example cover (using the default settings), and a screenshot of FicLab's settings - you can customise the cover output fairly significantly if you wish. Or if you leave it on the default settings, it'll try to pick a colour and layout that it thinks will work best with the story image.

I have an update coming out within the next few weeks that will significantly improve performance on ffnet (the current version is throttled a little slowly to avoid problems with ffnet's recent changes), and do a better job with multi-lining long titles on the cover images.

If you do happen to run into an error, just refresh the page and try again - it most likely means that CloudFlare wants to verify that you are a human before proceeding.

There is no need to wait; the current version already creates cover images. The screenshots I attached to my earlier post were from the current production version.

Thanks, also there's no glitches or anything wrong with the stories when using the downloading program right? Asking because in an earlier post some program was a bit slow and don't want to risk having a messed up story when downloading.

Problems with FFF v3.29.0 in calibre, it worked last night but not now. It might be because FF.Net is moving stuff around again. I got a Cloudflare challenge this morning.

That's because you don't download it from the website. You install it from the Chrome or Mozilla webstore. There are links to both on the homepage, and I've also linked them in my earlier post.

Fairly pointless, unless you need to edit the book in Word for some reason. It's not designed as an ebook format.

It's not doing anything, get error 505.

It's not doing anything after being at google chrome store, not even downloading the program.

Where are you stuck? Can you describe what you are doing?

If possible, a screenshot showing the problem would be helpful.

Fixed it and it works, but I get error 505. Doesn't download.

It receives it right away, doesn't download a single chapter.

Put the link in, press download and a few seconds later the error shows up in red.

Tried it with a different story and different fandom, it doesn't download at all. Keep on receiving the same error as before.
