Which type of files are these, and where did they originate from? If they are FicLab or FLAG files, then provided they are in an ebook format (ePub, Kindle, etc) they should already contain all the metadata Calibre needs (with the exception of custom metadata, or if you have edited it after importing but have not modified the original file to match). If they are in a format that does not support much metadata (e.g. PDF) then some details will be missing, as they simply aren't contained in the original file. The same goes for if you obtained proper ebook filetypes from a source that does not set the metadata properly. If the metadata isn't available in the original files, it may be possible to retrieve it from your old library. Do you have a backup of the metadata.db file from your old library?
Thank you for info. I was able to figure out a way to restore everything.
