It's not fair how talented some people are.  >:( :D
I love Adele's rapping, she should release a cover or something just to take peeps by surprise.  >:D ;D
Probably one of my fave Carpool Karaoke's to date.

I started watching Outlander and loved it, so I decided to spoil myself on Wikipedia before starting the books. (I didn't want to start reading the series without an HEA of the shippers I wanted). Yeah, I won't be reading those either.

More rec's, yeah! Thanks.

Wonderful! Glad you had a safe and happy journey. I might have to have these Scottish pics rotating if I read the Highlander series you mentioned.  ;D

Yea, after watching the show Aug 2014, I got on this big Highlander kick. I think thus far, my fav is Maya Banks McCabe Trilogy. I still have several to go on Monin's Highlander series.

Emma Chase - Tangled Series...if you haven't read......start now. :-)  It's good, hot, witty, snarky, funny, etc. Male POV. Just what I needed. I started them back in 2014 and finished them last year. Read in order though.

Kallypso Masters. I hadn't heard of them, but I got my daily notice form BookHub it was free. I read the description and away I went.

"Kallypso Masters writes emotional, realistic Romance novels with dominant males (for the most part) and the strong women who can bring them to their knees. She also has brought many readers to their knees--having them experience the stories right along with her characters in the Rescue Me Saga. Kally knows that Happily Ever After takes maintenance, so her couples don't solve all their problems and disappear at "the end" of their Romance, but will continue to work on real problems in their relationships in later books in the saga."

I have been pleasantly surprised.

I still listen to Bear McCreary's scores for Outlander almost daily. Love - Setting Sail and Veil of Time.
I like to have instrumental music when I read. I don't want words, because I am not coordinated enough to "hear" words and "read" different words at the same time. Just like I don't like the TV on when I read.

I think Bear McCreary is my very favorite tv music composer. I see his name on SO many shows that I love. I think he did the theme to Black Sails, which is a great show, and got me wanting good pirate romances, but since I read M/M, they're hard to find!

Oh I'm so bummed. I just heard about Alan Rickman's passing. While he was great as Professor Snape, I always loved him best in Galaxy Quest -- "by Grabthar's hammer"!

I've loved Rickman since Robin Hood Prince of Thieves. He was just delightfully bad in that one!

It's a great song, but I didn't ever think that it would be nominated for an Oscar.  ??? :o
I just hope that Leo actually wins something this year as he's been nominated so many times.

I enjoyed seeing him in all the movies mentioned, but he was also great as a romantic ghost in Truly, Madly, Deeply

I just finished watching AI - to whoever else saw it tonight, did you get the same reaction I got to the Britney Spears wannabe?  The red lipstick and the teeth just screamed vampire along with the fact that she couldn't sing.  And I hated the version of Black Velvet that the girl from Hawaii sang.

Not sure if I shared our Scotland pics. I have tons, but you are welcome to see them. Hopefully the link works. (you will even get to see me and mr. mickey)
Scroll past the first few. Hubs was in Paris first and then met me in London airport and we flew to Scotland.

I hate not getting updates. I think the problem has been fixed but I'm still not getting all updates.

RDM, thank you for those beautiful shots from Scotland...so picturesque. I see where The Worlds End bar does exist..lol.
Loopy, Adele is a bonafide superstar. Uber talented and so down to earth. I loved their Spice girl throwback party...she does a good Scary spice. And yes,she can rap...maybe we'll see more of that. I liked the Spice Girls...their music always got the party jumping.
Booked, yes she's another favorite author, I've read books as well. I'm now going through Kresley Cole's books, she's good too.
Ruth, I saw AI(American Idol) and I agree with you on both counts. That Hawaaiian girl is not all there...she's .."off"...somewhere. I guess they're using the past contestants to wean out the good singers because of their experience on the show and maybe their careers aren't going so well? Who knows??!?
Earned It is an awesome song, one of my faves.
I just read where Sam, the director of FSoG is married to a guy 23 years her junior. They have 2 kids and he took her name! You go girl!
Like Booked, I'll never read the Outlander series but I do love the series.

So sorry to hear about David Bowie and Alan Rickman's passing.
I don't think I've ever seen AR play a role I didn't like. From funny guy to badass...he was really talented.
Labyrinth is one of my faves.

eacalltheway - The one who was way out there was the girl with purple/lavender? hair who made up the song for the three of them on the spot.   It's actually a good idea to use past winners/contestants to weed out the really bad ones.  Loved the look on Rupert's face last night while someone was trying to sing to him.  The one who's career hasn't been doing well is Taylor Hicks which is too bad because I like him.  I think he's working on Broadway now.   The other one is the one who beat Adam Lambert (I still think he should have won) - and I'm having a senior moment because I can't remember his name.   I guess he's doing well but we just never see him (last name is Allen?).   Everybody else including Rupert seems to have found their own little niche whether it be Christian music or Los Vegas.

Omg, how could I have forgotten that loon. She is a world traveler tho'. I'm not familiar with Rupert, who is he?
Kris Allen is the one you don't remember, for a good reason...lol. Adam lambert should have definitely won. I still can't believe Kris got the votes.
On a side note, I read also that Rob's wedding has been postponed....for the third time!! What's up with that...cold feet or diversionary tactics?

Rupert Studdard from Season 2 - he beat Clay Aiken.  I didn't start watching until the tail end of 3 when it got down to Carrie Underwood and Bo Bice.  Rupert is the black guy with glasses sitting at the table - heavy set (although he used to be much heavier - he's now involved with Christian music.)  Ah yes - Kris Allen.  You wouldn't believe how many times I voted for Adam.  That was the last season I voted.   As for Rob - I haven't heard anything recently - the last thing I read was on Gossip Cop refuting that they were going to counseling, or had postponed the wedding.
