Want a little chuckle? I was just reading Robshandmonkey's Shhhh:

Her heart rate has spiked, her back arches, and her juggler is throbbing under that silky looking thin skin of hers as that blue pulsating vein is singing to me.

juggler...heh heh

Oh, I've seen that one a few times, once in an actual, published *supposedly* edited novel! That one went into the DNF pile.

I have read this story. Usually I can overlook the errors and focus on the story itself, as long as there aren't too many of them. There have been stories I have read that had an awesome plot, great story, but really sucked for editing.

Thanks to my little man's jet lag (he wakes up at 2am every night) I have extra time to read.

I just finished A Few Tables Away by drotuno that I remember someone mentioning a month or so ago.  I really liked it.  I would have loved to have the male equivalent of this Bella help me with my social anxiety my freshman year of university.  It was also well written so I'm definitely going to move up more of her work on my TBR list (y'all are always recommending her it seems)

I've read a few of MS's books and really enjoyed them, she is such a good writer.  :)
I so have to read some more of her books, as I do own all of them.  ^-^ ;D

Started reading Lauren Blakely's Big Rock, it's pretty predictable but it's got some really funny moments in it.
Being off line for just over a day has helped my reading as I managed to finish a book and a re-read of a fic.  :D :D

Maybe you could send of your good weather over here hun, we've had some flooding (not as bad as in the past) the last few days and even though the rain seems to being down, it's started to freeze a bit which is making cleaning up roads etc a nightmare.

I'm with you.  If the story is good, I can forgive some errors.  But it will make me flounce a bad story really quickly.  And it is almost unforgivable in I book I paid for.

So Hot!!!!  Thanks for sharing   :-* :-* :-*

And good luck with the weather.  We are having a lot of rain headed out way, but most of the time it goes around us.  I think it is because we are almost surrounded by mountains, so the storm tends to follow them.  We could really use the water on our lawn.

I think we all have a room that kinda looks like that pic...lol.

Sine this site's reception has been so spotty, I've been reading a lot more that usual.
I'm reading Shayla Black's Scandal Never Sleeps and it's a good one....more mystery, intrigue and suspense.

Weather is still holding pretty good temps....

My middle son moved to Arizona today. He got a promotion at work and that's where the new job is. I'm taking the move a lot harder than I thought I would. It feels like he's leaving for good. College was never this hard...I guess I knew he'd be coming home at some point so that was comforting.
We're visiting in February.....with a side trip to Vegas..lol

I won't usually flounce a ff story if the plot is really good, but in a book I have purchased, I expect it to be perfect.

So another year has passed.......whom are we missing ?

Me - still working 12-14hrs a day
Getting older, so after working those long hours, most nights I am even too tired to read.

Hubs and I went to Scotland in July.
I. Am. Ready. To. Move
It was one gorgeous country.

Youngest son that was almost killed in the car wreck 2 years ago, graduated college in August.

Holidays were a just a blur between Thanksgiving and Xmas.

Oh Facebook deactivated my older RdMickey Ninteen-Eighty-Nine, so I have been trying to find most again under my real account.
Come find me. (send me a pm so we can hook back up).

EDIT: Sorry hun, had to re-size your pics as slightly too big. :-*

Lucky you. I would rather have the rain than the snow we have been getting.  People always seem to forget how to drive in it!!

Not sure what to read next, but kinda in the mood to read a vampire story that isn't twilight or formerly twilight ff. Any suggestions? I have to have my HEA of course.

Well, a couple of series. I'm sure you have done BDB books. But ones you may not have been as popular are:

Tina Folsom - Scanguard Vampire series (I have read the first 3 and all 3 were good.)
Laura Kaye - Vampire Warrior King series (I have read them all. Short. Good. Engaging.Would love more)
Laura Kaye - Forever Freed (stand alone and good)
Jaden Sinclair - Guardians Series (I have read the first 2)

Hmmm. I seem to have a lot more paranormal, but not necessarily vampires.  :)
