Am down with a fever and bad cough since yesterday. Wasn't able to go to mass, do the grocery and visit my mom. Hubs thankfully did the grocery (they do have some use LOL).

I read Rear View by Dishie and it was good, thanks for the rec. Didn't expect it would be an action/suspense. But it was a good read.

Since i wasn't able to hear mass and only prayed the rosary and some easter prayers with hubs and the kids, i, in all conscience, couldn't watch p0rn after 40 days of abstinence. Since my cough kept me awake, i waited until it was 12:20am on monday before i went to p0rnhub Do you think i will not be welcome at the pearly gates when i'm struck dead with this fever and horrendous cough?

Okay, someone on here brought this story up and said it was pretty tough to take due to the abuse Bella endures. I decided I had to check it out. So I flipped through the chapters and decided to give it a go. The first couple of chapters are pretty gruesome, but it gets better and there is a HEA. I haven't finished it yet (even though I know it has a HEA). So I'm reading along and Bella is trying to get out of the hospital and has to have all the doctors, therapists, etc. agree that she's ready to be discharged. So, she has one more doctor to go:

That left only Ben Cheney, and that meant a full genealogical examination. I was prepared for that, as prepared as I was likely to ever get, but I was still petrified by the time he arrived.

I'd be scared, too. LOL No telling what that kind of exam will turn up.

Well, I was set up on a blind date with one of his brothers (don't worry it was one of his single older ones

) and up rocks an 18 yr old that looks like he was getting sent to face the firing squad. Apparently he was gonna meet me to explain his brother was sick, have a drink then leave. But my Mum rang to say my daughter was taken to hospital as she had a fall. So after getting back from the hospital he slept on the couch and just never left.

I think I fell a bit in love with him on his 3rd day with us as I left him and my daughter in the front room watching "The Little Mermaid" and came back from folding the laundry to them singing "Part of Your World" while he played his guitar. That night he moved from the couch to my bed - that's not say the couch was never used though.

Goodness! Did I forget to share with all of PTS that I've been on a number of dates with the guy with a Prince Albert and though he is very nice and easy on the eye, I have yet to have a first person experience with that part of his anatomy?! Sooo..... I had my date today. And I was myself. But, I don't know about whether or not I'll see him again. He was more interesting when we were texting. In person, he barely says a word. I called him on it, and he told me he's shy until he feels more comfortable. Then he isn't. But he told me all he does in his free time is hang out at a pool hall. I mean, I mostly read, but still. A pool hall?! I don't know....

On another note. I found this awesome app. It's call Scribd. It's this online digital library. It doesn't have everything on it, but there are a lot of really good reads. It's supposed to cost $8 or $9 a month to read as much as you want, but they do give you a free trial. I have until the 12th to decide if it's worth the money, but so far I've found a lot of pretty decent books and ones I wanted to read on my nook, but wasn't going to pay $12 for. So that is one plus going for it so far. I'll keep you updated on whether or not I keep it, but it seems like something you ladies (and guy) might enjoy, so I thought I'd share.

Lots going on in recent pages... I laughed a ton at the Prince Albert conversation... I'm not really even sure what that is, but I think I know. Oh and I've never seen Sons of Anarchy, but always hear good things about it. Maybe I'll watch that one day after I get caught up on Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad. (still only on episode 1 of both of those LOL)

Oh and the "buy a hat" thing. I didn't know what that meant either, but now that you mention it I remember seeing all the hats at the most recent royal wedding. They talked about them a lot on the gossip channels. LOL

I need to find a fic to read next... I'm about to finish Crashed (book 3 of the Driven series). Either that or I'll read Jellicoe Road per Demaris' suggestion. So many decisions.

Just a warning, I messed up my computer big time and am trying to recover the files. Turns out, you can't turn your main hard drive into a dynamic drive and still expect it to work. Not that I wanted to turn it into one. And reloading windows sometimes wipes the backup drive instead of the main brand new drive that you want it to load on.

Needless to say, I'm trying not to cry. And I've got a program running that I'm hoping will save at least my documents folder. But it is extremely slow. And so far I can't tell if it's giving me good data or not. I couldn't really choose the folder to recover and it started with the program folders. I have about 750 GBs on the drive. Sigh $:-\$

What this means is that I may take a bit to update the Google drive. It won't affect anything already there.

Dragged my sorry ass out of bed this morning to go to work. My boss and officemates saw how bad i sounded (frog voice and hacking cough) and was telling me to go home.
