This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

Ahhhh! I'm afraid Wide Awake has ruined me on other fics! I read Died & Gone to Heaven and am now about 50% finished with Antiques Roadshow and I'm just not feeling it. I REALLY wanted to like this one because vampward has been calling to me for a while, but its just kinda "ok". I think maybe I need to switch to a real book that is totally unrelated and then maybe dive back into FF.

Did everybody LOVE Antiques Roadshow?

I didn't know it was code for anything. My husband is a ham radio operator and if you're spelling something out or giving your call letters, to make things clear you use words. C in hamspeak is Charlie. T in hamspeak is Tango. So any other meaning may just be a bonus.

is anyone else having issues with the Fanfiction Downloader on calibre? I'm trying to update Epubs with new chapters that I know have been added since I originally downloaded them and I keep getting this message under the failed comments:

'NoneType' object has no attribute 'lower'

I've tried 4 different fics so far....anyone else have this issue or know what I'm doing wrong??

Hotlinking has nothing to do with linking pics of hot guys!

I think the correct way to post a picture is to use photobucket or tinypic. Perhaps a mod can clarify?

I hope some of you have been saving some bail money! I have a feeling I'll be needing it soon!

I love photobucket! It was the only way I could post pics from my ipad. I just save whatever pic to my camera roll, open photobucket to import the pic and then with one tap it copies the link straight to your clipboard to paste. Easy, peasy, lemon squeezy!

Ps. You don't need to click the Mona Lisa icon when you want to post, it includes the [i.mg] thingy.

I'm ready to help!

Except in very few special circumstances (like when it crashes in the middle of adding), I always select "Update Epub if new chapters"

If you overwrite every time and they delete all but the first chapter? You are SOL (Sh*t Out of Luck) It is gone.

Thanks Ella, But I don't see that option anywhere. I see where it say update metadata only but nothing about chapters.
