This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

Ok sorry I am going on post overload but I am about to go to sleep so I am getting it all out at once.
I was totally in the same mind set as you when I first read this. I blame it on lack of sleep. Lol. I for real LOL when you posted this because I was thinking exactly the same thing. What does nal mean?

I usually get on in the morning only to find a ton of posts from the night before. Or should that be tonnes?

Almost finished with The Practicum! Who recommended this recently so I can smooch you! I LOVE it. It just topped Love in My Box for my favorite fluffy fic. STill have a chapter or so to go, but I'm assuming it will be great.

I loved this story! It was actually one of the first I ever read back on Twilighted when I first got into fanfiction. Thanks for the lovely reminder

I know better than to try and catch up these days with the hours that I work. I worked almost 65 hours last week, worked 48 in 4 days and just flew 12 hrs for vacation. So I am on the opposite side of the USA for the next week. Never been to the northwest. I expect good times, good food, good drinks, and SLEEP.

I'm using mine as I write, and I am still loving it!

I love it so much that I almost feel like I should start wearing the little badge!

Almost.

I've only tried the Diva and as no-one I know had even heard of a menstrual cup, then I can't give advice on the other brands.

As for whether it is worth it, I would give a resounding YES! If you need to use a tampon or a pad, then you use a cup. I am still shocked that I have none of the side-effects of Shark Week - no cramps, no aches, no nausea. Apart from twice a day when I "freshen up", I completely forget that I am even having my period.

I might even have to start setting a reminder on my phone!

I was doing my laundry last week and was wondering why I have such a stockpile of napisan (This might be an Aussie thing - laundry product that removes all stains and discolourations from clothes? Not bleach.) and realised that I haven't needed to use it or my soaking bucket for 3 months!

As for the stem, I can't feel it but my friend's SIL has started using it (she is a convert too!) and she had to trim it a little as she could feel it when she was sitting down. She is only 22, no kids. Different brands have different lengths - one I saw online had a stem that looked to be about 2 inches long and you just trimmed to suit.

With all the research I have done, and also using the cup, I have learnt more about my body in the last 3 months that I have in the last 40 years - angles, lengths and depth, internal temperature, what actually comes out. I could almost open my own clinic now!

I am picturing you all googling "nal" or looking it up in your Australian-to-English dictionaries!

The actual word is not allowed here. We can write "buttfuck", we can write about someone "sticking it up their gaping pooper hole" but we can't write "a n a l".

I was merely commenting that I am OCD and I respect OCD tendencies in others (especially when it involves colour coding and spreadsheets!) and I was too lazy to type in the spaces between every letter.

Hence "a nal" is born!

Perhaps we need an "Astro-to-English" dictionary!

Now, being the teacher that I am, I have to tell you that whenever you learn a new word, you have to use it frequently and in context. Use "nal" in at least 3 sentences today!

I was reading this one as a WIP and from what I can remember this was good. Edward was possessive and the s e x scenes were really leamony.

But she stopped writing because her house caught fire, I don't know if it was a total loss but that's what happened and she hasn't updated since then.
