Loopy, Did you read pt 2? Does it end with a cliffie or is it done? (I think I read pt 1 didn't end, so I got the book but put it on hold for pt 2 to come out. I don't usually start to read a series until the series is done first. This habit is killing me on Sylvia Day's Crossfire series. I can't wait for them to finish coming out so I can know what everyone is talking about.)

I spent my evening yesterday with a teenage girl - my daughter.  We saw Matchbox Twenty and The Goo-Goo Dolls in concert.  It was great, but really, really hot.  Outdoor concerts in the summer time in Houston...who came up with that great idea?  [Insert sarcasm emoticon here].  Friday we're off to see Train, The Script and Gavin DeGraw.  Again, outside in 100 degree (F) weather.  But I love spending time with my baby girl.  She's 19, but she'll always be my baby.

My kids are all around 5 years apart.  The boys helped me make it through my daughter's horrible teenage years. My 9 year old is helping me through the soon-to-be 15 year old's teenage years, but who will help me through the youngest one's?

With my oldest, I'm convinced the gypsies stole my child when she turned 15, put a changeling in her place, then brought her back when she turned 18.

 So you'll have babies to love you through your daughter's teenage years, but THEN the babies will both be teenagers at the same time!  God help you then.

I finished Puddle Jumping last night and it was sooooo good! anyone who hasn't read it, put it to the top of your TBR list. It is short and if you read faster than I do, you can probably finish it in one go. 107yroldvirgin's writing style here is greatly improved from her first ones. Really drew you in. And I feel for this BxE *sigh*

Went to sleep at 1am to finish that. Woken up by a call from work at 1:25, did a little work and couldn't go back to sleep(oh, the ails of old folks). I started I Fell In Love by anhanninen which was rec'd here and I also liked it. Again, another short one at only 86 pages. But thankfully my eyes closing finally forced me to put my ipad down at 2:45...so i can wake up at 6 to go to work.  so loading up on coffee now at the office and gearing my mind to stay coherent during my meeting in a few minutes.

I woke up this morning, started my morning routine and wondered why it was still so dark. I checked the time and it was 2:32am.

So I went back to sleep and when I did wake up again, it was after 7:00am! I have usually left home well before then! I must have turned my alarm off when I woke up the first time.

Needless to say, I had a very rushed morning and there was no rooting for me at all!

One of the benefits of having a husband is rooting.    So i try to get that on a regular basis...not as much as when we were in our 20s or 30s but enough to satisfy this 40+ yr old body...and, as we are known for overshare
