This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

Okay, here is a place to discuss what you are reading, ask for recommendations and complain about the writing.

Does anyone here use Calibre and cloud storage for multiple libraries?

Right now, I have a fanfic library in calibre, it saves to Google Drive, and I have a Books library, that saves to Dropbox.

I was wondering if I could maybe create a sub folder in the Google Drive folder for, say, Harry Potter fic, make a new library in calibre, and have all my HP stuff go in there, keep it separate from the Twifics.

Does anyone have any idea if this is possible, or am I risking f ucking the whole thing up?

ETA: It did work, and holy fucksticks, a whole new world of calibre fic organization has just opened up for me. I can make a BellaxJasper library, a Wolfpack library, Vampward, etc.

I am so annoyed with myself at the moment.

I have finished Sleep With the Lights On by Maggie Shayne (it was a great read) only to find out the next book is not due out until DECEMBER!!

This is worse than any WIP ever - at least with a fic there are A/N's that warn you ahead of time. I had no idea that this was the first in a series.

I'm sitting here sulking now.

Given that when it comes to anything clever comupter-wise I am dimmer then dim, can anyone baby walk me through downloading a story from a blog? Pretty please with big begging eyes.

Is my memory actually functioning and they were the ones that pulled because of the speculation and drama with TheFicGirl's entry?

I really can't blame her, the story in quesiton was plagiarized more than once, I'd do the same in her shoes. I just hate to read on my computer, and it's formatted weird.

Don't shoot me, but I think RDJ has the best butt on that page. Hiddleston looks good too, but it's an odd angle. Oh and Hemsworth! Our baby moves too fast, and the pic is kinda dark.

Still in a fic slump

Started this series yesterday and am on book 2, hot rockers protective of an abused girl... Gosh, the prologue really grabs you...love their dynamics/family. each book is about a band member: nik, jesse, drake and shane

That's the speculation. All we know is that the authors pulled it from the contest during voting. It was around the same time as the drama happened. I thought the story was really good, and it would have been in my top 3 for voting.

After much deliberation I opened the envelope we were sent home with on Tuesday - last night, which contained the sex of bump, as I couldn't put up with the hubby winding me up about it.
I was a bit of an emotional wreck for most of the night and quite a bit of today as I found out we're having a GIRL!!!

I'm nervous as hell that we're gonna have a repeat of what happened to our angel Topagna-Sway but I'm trying to think positive about it as even if we were having a boy it could happen.

Anyway, I think the hubby is really happy we're having a girl as he knows I can't fight with him over naming bump Dexter, which he absolutely refuses to let us call an of our future sons as he doesn't want a son of ours named after a fictional serial killer, what with our surname being Morgan.
I mean we've got Saxon, so what's more fictional serial killer in our family.
