Someone remind me why I'm dating this man again? Apart from the fact that he has a...really...big....bed.
Shoosh, Loopy! You got me cracking up on the karaoke and Rick Astley thingie! What a bunch of c..blockers your dh's brothers! Did you tell them about the new installed shower you both wanted to try? Prob they could've gotten the hint. Or if they didn't, a nice "please, we'd like to get busy right now so just go and come back in ten days"...Oh well.. Just hoping you'd had fun too!Abby
That is too funny! More so because I'm wondering whether this dating malarkey really is what I should be doing with my time right now when I have a ton of books I want to read! Metal work aside, this is bloody hard work....and stupid over here decided to mention what we're talking about online and now I'm having to explain to someone who has NO interest in ever reading one exactly what a Twific is and why anyone would bother to a) read one and b) write one (OK the second is harder to justify considering the sh!t that constitutes Twific writing sometimes) But we have come to the agreement, after much debate, that if nothing else Twilight gave us some some amazing music.....Though I had to prove this by allowing Mr PA a gander through my iTunes (which to me is the same a rifling through my lingerie drawer). Its way too soon for this sh!t.....Someone remind me why I'm dating this man again? Apart from the fact that he has a...really...big....bed.
See? It's not just me. The ending was rushed and abrupt and unsatisfying.
I freaking hated BC every single one of her 1000s of books were the same and the all ended with "I love you, I love you, I love you". Pass the sick bucket.
Hi Im new here. I hope you could show me the ropes to pull. I was kind of hoping someone would recommend a story of age play. Edward being daddy and Bella being the little girl. I've been informed that I could ask here. In advance thank you sooooo much! Lots of love!
Please help? Thankiess!
Although I will read Olderward, I'm not usually big on ones where she calls him Daddy. Unless, of course, they have a kid.
I personally cringe at the fics where Edward calls Bella "Baby Girl" - it screams pedophile to me and sounds so unnatural and inappropriate. Not at all sweet or romantic.
I can deal with baby girl, depending on how the story goes, how the character is. Derek calls Penelope Baby Girl all the time on Criminal Minds, and it's endearing, not creepy, but then, they aren't romantic, but best friends.I was reading the blurb for a fic tonight, does anyone else want to pass right over the story when it states how the "Cullen's" have left? Why is that so hard, it's not a Cullen owning something, no apostrophe needed.

I hate when people don't know the difference between possessive and plural.
You mean historical romances aren't supposed to end that way? ? ? ? ? I could never get into BC books. I lived on all the harlequins I could find. 10cents each at the thrift store. Lots of Betty Neels from which I learned if you want to marry a doctor you have to be a nurse. LOL! Yeah, not so true. I guess it's different if the doctors are Dutch.
Goodness me, of all the things there to hate about our world grammar is really low on my list. Actually its not even on it, maybe that is an English thing.
Atleast in the fandom, from what I've seen it's usually the people/authors from the UK who tend to be more picky about grammar.
I usually justify it as new writers getting practice by writing using characters that already exist. We read for free and in exchange we review it. My husband believed it as he knows how much I love to read. I don't mention that it's mostly to get my Edward fix. And you are putting up with the crap that is dating because you love large um .... beds. Large beds are nice.
Here's your reminder...plus, I'm sure you're enjoying exploring something a little different. It is a little too early to share about Twifics, though. At least you no longer have a Rob Pattinson obsession to confess. Does he know about Mr. Fassy?
That's why I don't tell the hubby about fanfiction as he's annoying enough when I tell him about books I've read or wanna read.
LOL I can only imagine your discussion with him about Twilight fanfiction. How in the world did that conversation come up? My husband thinks I'm crazy with the ff-love but he knows how much I love Edward (always have) so he gets it. I've managed to bring two friends to the fandom and they are now reading FF that I supply them (they don't know how to get it themselves). I sound like a drug pusher. Ella, I explain it the same way. These folks are just getting started as writers and might not know they're good enough to be published or not know how to go about it etc. Because seriously, some of these fanfics really need to be published!
