Looking for an Edward/Bella story - I know that Edward/Bella were in a relationship at the beginning of the story and I believe Bella either broke up with Edward or always assumed he would be there for her because she may have been traveling abroad a lot. I think that they had been best friends / in each others life for some time. I read it some time ago so I may have the facts straight. What I do remember is that when Bella returns from wherever she had gone Edward had started dating someone new and bella didn't realize that when she left Edward last, he meant it when he said he wouldn't wait for her again. The story was a little angsty but also mixed with a lot of humor too. I think Bella was worried to end up like her mom possibly. I'm pretty sure she was going on trips abroad but I could have that detail wrong.

I am hoping you guys can help.  I am looking for a story.  I think its a O/S.

Edwards and Bella are in HS.  He is popular she is not.  He gets hit by a car and dies. She can see him.  Kinda like the Ghost Whisper.  She helps him find his killer.  I remember the end had the person who did it getting arrested and they are watching from across the street in her window.  And he goes to the other side but tells her to live.  I think they added an extra chapter about her in Paris maybe doing what Edward said.

This is close but I don't think it is going to turn out to be right. It's one of my favorites though, similar storyline, and by the author of alphabet weekends.
