I just finished this story and it was a good one. I've read many mamasutra stories and she is a good writer. This story had many similarities to the one I described but it's not the one. Here are a few of the differences I remember. I'll "hide" them just in case it's found and someone wishes to read The Lost.
I'm sure this is on my list of completed & read stories somewhere but as this list is over 1,500+, I can't even entertain the thought of going one by one through the entire list. (didn't save summaries) What can I say? Yes, I am an addict! *shrugs*

Hey! I just had a thought. Does anyone know if mamasutra had an alias or 2 on ff? She mentions at the end of "The Lost" that this story wasn't as she had originally thought she would write it. She says she is going to publish her version. Do you suppose she might have posted her originally intended version under an alias maybe? I know, I know. I sound desperate. A mind is a terrible thing to waste (lose)! Help me obi wan kenobi! You're my only hope!

I am looking for a fan fiction I saw years ago. I don't remember the name of it. Edward and Bella were in college. Edward was really obsessed with Bella. Bella lived with it was either Lauren or Jessica I don't remember which one. I remember  that Edward was outside her window and he wanted her to come down and see him and he kept yelling to her from the ground.  I remembered that they had had sex outside against the building. It's not edward's own.

I am looking for a story that I read years ago. What I remember is Bella is diagnosed with cancer after she starts noticing tiredness and bruising. The Cullens are vampires.  The biggest thing I remember is Bella becomes pregnant and everyone is telling her she has to have an abortion because she will not survive nor will the baby due to the aggressiveness of the cancer. She tries to convince everyone she can live and have the baby but soon realizes that it will be impossible. She goes through with the abortion. I believe the chapter when this part happens is called "Blood on my Hands." She winds up in the shower after the operation and cries and tells Edward she feels she can't get the blood off her hands. Edward promises that if she can beat the cancer they can try again to have a child.

This story was amazing, heartbreaking, and just beyond words and I wish I could remember the name. If anyone can remember this story I would be so grateful. Thank you! And thank you to everyone who takes the time to help all of us on this site find our favorite stories.

Looking for an E/B fic where Bella is married to Marcus who is old and possibly dying and they have a child together. Marcus finds an escort company where he can get Bella a man to satisfy her sexual needs since he can't anymore. The company is owned by Edward's uncle and Edward needed a job so he sends Edward to be of service to Bella. Edward is married though but eventually E/B develop a relationship.
