Hello Everyone,

I posted about this story a long time ago and have never been able to find it. So I am hoping one more time to see if anyone remembers this story and its name.

It is a Bella/Edward story that takes place during the time of Uther Pendragon. Bella, also called Belladonna I think, is from a wealthy family and meets Edward while he is acting as a merchant in the local market; he is actually a warrior. They fall in love and he takes her away to start a journey back to his homeland. Along the way she is captured by James but is able to escape and Edward and her continue on their journey. He introduces her to Rosalie, who is the Lady of the Lake. Due to this she may never be with Emmett. Carlisle and Esme, I believe, passed away before the story begins. When they arrive at Uther's court they meet Jasper, who is also called Merlin, and Alice. Jessica plays an ambitious mistress to Uther and is pregnant with his child. Uther does wind up with Guinevere and Bella plays a huge part in stealing her away from the camp so she may marry Uther and become pregnant with Arthur.

It is a tale of Camelot, Avalon, court betrayals, magic, and love. It is NOT a crossover with the series Merlin.

This was truly an amazing story and I am surprised that I have never been able to find it after so many years. Please help me find it. I would be forever grateful! TNEfanatic was the original person to post for help on finding it and she has had no luck either.

Trying to remember the name of a story. Edward was Scottish and Bella was English. It's a historical story with an arranged marriage of sorts.

I may be mixing scenes up. But two things that stand out to me are when Edward and his men are talking Bella pretends to only understand them when they are speaking English. Then later she pops off speaking another language proving she understood them the whole time.

The second scene is Edward leaves Bella alone once they get to his home. His servants were horrible to her making her do all of the chores. She was convinced he was punishing her

I thought it was Resisting Love. But that's not it.

I am looking for a story where when Bella was a young girl, Charlie was killed, slit across the throat or something like that in his bedroom and no longer talks. I’m not sure what is actually part of the story or if I’m mixing it with another story but I’ll list other possible factors in. Thanks for your help!
- Renee is attacked or killed too
- Bella is traumatized and can’t/won’t speak
- Charlie was a judge
- Bella has problems because she could’ve yelled and woke up her father in time to save his life, she feels guilty
- Set like a robbery but was murder
- Story is set later on in her life
