#4 - I am pretty sure I read this? The one I read was Bella and Edward being each other's firsts (I think they grew up together as best friends) and he was pressured hearing guys talking about sleeping around in the gym locker room? I think Bella works as a waitress and Edward shows up there with Kate? Bella's boss lets her leave because she thinks Edward is a jerk throwing his date in Bella's face. I believe Bella starts seeing Garrett.

1- Bella and Edward are friends that start being friends with benefits. This started when they were sharing a bed in a hotel room or something and ended up having sex.

2- Edward spends a lot of time with a tribe of native Americans and they consider him one of them. I remember Edward was having tea or maybe dinner with Charlie and Bella at some point and Charlie was mocking Edward spending time with the tribe. Bellas family is wealth. Bella starts spending time with Edward and the tribe and she is staying in a tent/hut when she and Edward sleep together.

3- Bella has a crush on Edward (they aren't in a relationship yet) and she walks in on him having sex with Jessica. He yells at her to get out and she gets so upset she leaves Forks. Years later she returns and Edward is the Chief of Police.

ISO: Soo. I have read and watched so many crime shows and fics that sometimes storylines blend together in my aging mind. This is either a WIP or T.V episode (lol). My description will be a bit disjointed so bare with me.

Bella catches the attention of the cities most eligible bachelor - major business owner (Riley or Royce?). I think he has to convince her to go on a date with him. Bella's not interested or gets back vibes about him. He begins to stalk and threaten her (I always get what I want).

Later in the story, we're introduced to Edward. He's a police Detective. He has a house in the woods. I think he's on vacation or administrative leave after being suspended by his superior. He was hot on a criminal investigation (sex crimes-trafficking?) involving the man threatening B. His dept. has been corrupted by the man's organization.

Somehow Bella ends up at Edward's house. She might have been running or escaped  from bad guys men. E calms her and tells her he a cop. Snow on the ground. a group of men pulls up in E's drive looking for B? On the down low, E calls his partner who is still at the station.

I know this story but unfortunately can't remember the name or author. I think it was part of a compilation or contest but I could be wrong.  Here are some more details that I remember hoping this may help with your search. Bella was in a car driven by (Riley/Royce?). She did finally agree to go out with him and I believe after the date he started driving her to the forest/park to assault or kidnap her. She realizes this and somehow escapes and runs through the forest while (Riley/Royce) chases her through the forest. She sees a light and runs towards it which happens to be Edward's cabin. Edward hears a sound comes out, sees Bella and hides her. (Riley/Royce) confronts Edward says he is looking for his date and they had a fight. Edward says he saw no one and (Riley/Royce/) asks to explore the property. Edward threatens him and tells him to get off his property. I don't remember much after that but he does place a phone call to a friend on  the police department.  He is on leave b/c he was investigating a crime and got too close and there are corrupt people on the force. I believe Riley/Royce is a politician of some sort but I could be wrong.  Hope this spurs someone's memory.
