Just a few other friendly reminders:

Please use the subject and tags lines as follows (with no colon after UL, LINK and REQ)
When uploading a story it would be like this: UL The ABC story by author123
For Links, it would be: Link DurtyNelly blog
Requests for stories: REQ The ABC story by author123

Are you looking for a specific fic?  In the upper right hand corner is a search box with a drop down menu. Type in your search criteria and you will probably find the story has already been uploaded.  If you search and can't find what you're looking for, feel free to ask.  Remember that the Index to Uploaded Twilight stories always runs at least a month behind this thread.  So you need to search the current month as well as the Index when you're looking for a story, especially one that has recently been pulled.

Remember - Search before you request and Search before you upload!

Let me make some other suggestions that might make your life easier.  If you click the notify button (at the top or bottom of the page), you'll get an e-mail when something new is posted on the thread.  You can do this for any thread you're interested in following.  Also, if you bookmark the thread, when you access it through your bookmarks, it will have a little red "new" which, if you click on it, will take you to the last place you were on the thread.  This also works if you access the thread through the home page (fanfict alley, then the thread).  You do have to be signed in to get the benefits of the "new" button.  If you go the "notify" route, you'll be accessing from your e-mail and it will take you to the post that you received the notification on.

I can't remember much about this fanfiction, but I am trying to find it. Here is what I remember:
Bella and Edward are human. They have a daughter, I think her name is Abby (she is born during the story). For their daughter's birthday, they give her a dog. When Bella is pregnant with their second child, Edward is in a car accident. He survives. When Edward and Abby are playing together, Bella goes into labor, her contractions are 7.5 minutes apart when she tells Edward.

I had no trouble with the link in the Index for On the Double by MasenVixen.  It took me straight to the story and the story opened without any problems.

Make sure you have an up to date copy of adobe acrobat. If you do, and you still can't open, trying rebooting your computer.
Did you try to open then save?  Or did you try to save, then open from your computer?  Whichever way you tried that didn't work, try the other way.  If you are having trouble because you're trying to upload to a tablet or phone, try a different device, then e-mail it to yourself to open on your tablet or phone.

Ficfangirl.  Thanks for putting  the Found line in for my request above.   I just remembered about it.  Anemia is terrible for memory. 
I will be rereading The Death of Edward Cullen as I have been trying to find it for a long time. 
Believe it or not but I found it today accidently on Perusing the Shelves.

I'm glad you found it.  I don't think I've read that one.  I have read the second one you're looking for (or something like it), but I can't remember title or author either.  I'll let you know if something comes to me.  Do you know if it's a recent story or an older one?  Seems like there was one started relatively recently, but I don't think it was finished.  Time is also a slippery concept when you've been a Twifan as long as we have.

2 is not The Journal or The Summer of Lethes Demise although both are similar with Edward becoming distant.
The one I am thinking of has Bella running to Charlie and Edward showing up over a week later after she left.  If I am not mixing up two stories Bella goes to France (maybe) to study cooking or painting and meets Jacob (Oh no). 
 Time is kind of screwy for me with the anemia but I would think it was at least 5 years ago.  Anyway, usually something will come to me that helps me remember.
Being a TwiFan since 2008 and discovering Fanfiction in 2009 I have read a lot of fanfiction.  It's a wonder I remember anything but many of the writers had fantastic stories to tell.
