Hey beauties, I'm in desperate need of some new fanfic. I have a few things I'm SUPER interested in at the moment:

Any recs would be greatly appreciated

So, a fic recently mentioned Outlander in an AN, and it peaked my interest. I watched the 1st episode and read the first few chapters, so seeking guidance-- should I read 1st or watch? Or does it matter- would you have a preference if yu the books (I had tried before and didnt get out of the 1st chapter). I read Twilight first, watched HP and SS before reading the book (then the read of books that were out).

I enjoyed the Outlander books and I'm enjoying the tv series.  The two mediums are always different.  The story moves faster on tv because you don't have to deal with all the description, but the tv series is also not a slave to the books and I think certain aspects have a different tone in the tv series than in the book.  However, in most places the tv series is pretty on target with the books so far.

If you like costume dramas with plenty of adventure, then you should like this book/tv series.  I don't think it matters whether you watch or read first.

Is this the last one? For some reason I thought there’d be one more.
I can’t wait to see the last one either. I saw JD on the late late show last evening and he said there was more $ex in this one. I really hope not because this last book is more about change than anything else.
And, may I just say that his body has been transformed! He looks fantastic! Chiseled! Hard! 

Yes, this is the last one I read that EL didn't want to split the last movie like other franchises has been doing (not too sure whether that's a dig at Twilight or not  ) .

I'll have to look online later so I can watch that. I agree hun, this part of the trilogy was more about their relationship and how their life was etc and less about the sex so hopefully they're not just throwing in sex scenes just for the hell of it, thought seeing my baby naked is never a bad thing. 

I was watching FSoG and FSD the other day (you know just to refresh my memory so I'm ready for FSF  ) and the difference in my baby's bod from then and now is WOW!!!

Am glad am not the only “crazy one” here  i finished re-reading Freed the other day. Had forgotten details of Freed’s story and was glad to “relive” it again. 😍 Le sigh 😍

Now am about to watch the first movie and tom. is Darker  All as a ramp up to watching the last movie this week. 

We're not "crazy" hun, we're just preparing ourselves. 

I'll do a re-read after watching Freed to remind myself of whether I would of prefered them to have left certain things in or out of the movie, or that's my excuse anyway.

You're welcome, it's always good to have something nice to look at. 

I saw the sweetest movie last night called Forever My Girl.  It was so much like a Twilight fanfic.  Six months from now we will be getting story search requests that mix up the movie plot with actual Twifics.  It was a good movie, though.  Leads are unknowns (or at least unknown to me).  There's no cursing, explosions, or sex scenes, but so sweet it will rot your teeth.

Is that the movie based on the book of the same title by Heidi McLaughlin? If so I've been meaning to read that book/series for ages. I've heard that the movie is quite different from the book but good, I might try and look for it online as there's not a release date for it here in the UK.
