This isn't fanfiction related, but wanted to share.

For anyone that is battling some extra COVID-19 pounds, I have found what works for me, and wanted to share with you all just incase someone can use the information. I have tried this diet plan and that, and not getting anywhere. I recently tried the Keto diet, and although that plan does work and I didn't feel starved or deprived at all, I found that I was loosing the pounds too quickly. Having been over weight for a number of years I was concerned that I would be left with loose skin hanging, so I have adopted a low carb eating plan, but not to the extreme of Keto and incorporated some carbs that I have a hard time letting go (like my morning bagel) and wow, it works!! I have slowed the weight loss down and I am down 20.5 pounds so far. I still don't feel deprived or hungry and all I have done is watch what carbs I eat and cut out the junk food. If I fall off the wagon with my plan, usually because of some event, it only takes a couple of days to drop the few pounds I gained.  I recommend this to anyone who wants to shed some pounds.

Fanficgirl, if I shouldn't have posted this message on here please delete it.

Hello ladies!
I’m here for recommendation on what to read next, if anyone has ideas do tell! 😁
I like a little bit of angst and slow burn in the stories, and prefer them to have HEA somewhere in the end.
All human, “current times”.
I don’t really like when B/E are instantly in love, I enjoy the process of getting there.
I enjoyed most of the stories by pattyrose(Break, Begin Again, After Christmas, Spin & Sway, If We Ever Meet Again)
I also liked Dear Mr Masen by jendonna and A Rough Start by ItzMegan73, A World Without Sound and Hit By Destiny.
I also enjoy lighter stories like Bella Swan the Kidnapper.
So yeah, if you have any recommendations on somewhat similar, well written fics I would be very grateful!
Much love! 🙃

Back in 2012, this forum was such a big part of my everyday life. I am now more of a lurker, but I was feeling sentimental today, and thought to come over and post some love  :-*

Hey chickies!!!
I hope everyone is doing well, and staying healthy! I've been thinking about you all a lot lately, and all the fun we used to have  :-*
Life this year has been.. interesting. :P
I haven't cracked open Midnight Sun yet... been waiting.. IDK.. I think I need to be in the right frame of mind *ahahah!! I love it all, and I love all of that anticipation and the announcements, I gobbled it all up!  :)
Quick question for you pros... Is there a way to take a kindle book I purchased, and turn it into an epub for my ibooks? I've found a few tips online, but they make my head hurt.  :o

I'm no expert, but if it were me, I'd download the free kindle app on my desktop or laptop computer and have amazon send a copy of the book there.  Then you'll have a file on your computer.

Does anyone else have problems with FFN? The last week or so I keep getting mails that stories have been updated, but when I go to them I get a message that the link cannot be found. I have tried on my phone, and pc.

Here is the newest tweet from ffn.

At 6:30AM US PST, there was a network outage at a non-essential part of our system which caused app access to be effected. This issue has been resolved. We are triaging to to see why the non-essential secondary network impacted the primary.
Of course there is nothing about the newest issue. So frustrating!!
