Hey guys, I wanted to thank everyone who has suggested me many fascinating stories... it has been a lot of fun. Something that still makes me a little confused is how to know if the story is about vampires or not? A/H means alternate universe with human characters but is there any specific indicators for the vampire universe?
Anyone else notice the FFnet isn't giving email updates anymore when a new story chapter is posted or is it just me?
They're being stupid. You have to go into settings on your account page and opt in for email notifications. Apparently, they're going to make you do that every 90 days.

Well, aren't you lucky! Mine says every 90 days. But my account has been weird for a while, so maybe they have me on a different set of rules. Too complicated.Edit: I just checked my account again. They've changed it from every 90 days to every 6 months. Probably because everyone was telling them how stupid they were being.

hi!! i recently found a fanfic rec here that led me to adifferentforest.net, and unfortunately i've had troubles registering as a new account. i put in all of my information, but am still waiting for a verification email. i've pressed the button to resend the verification email three times already, but to no avail. i even tried contacting the web administrator through their contact tab, but i can't even submit my message without completing a captcha (to my knowledge there is no captcha on that webpage). i guess my question was, is the website working for all of you? i just want to read fanfic there i'll try making another account with another email but still holding out for that verification.
