I have used both fanfiction downloader and flagfic.com I like flagfic a little better only because it does a linked table of contents that actually works in my kindle and includes the summary of the story. Fanfiction downloader just copies it to one file. If you download Fanfiction Downloader to your computer, you get an http version as well as the mobi or epub.

I don't even open stories anymore - I right click, click on "copy shortcut", and paste it in either ff downloader or flagfic. I do mobi because I usually read on my kindle, but you can select any of the formats. It is very quick.

How do you know(keep track of) when a wip has completed? Is there any site you are aware of that list recently completed works?
There are so many stories that I am following (even though I have promised myself repeatedly not to start anymore wip because of the delays
in updating or complete fails in updating, lol)

I hope someone has a suggestion or maybe there is something I am just missing that will make these easier to follow.

Suggestions anyone?

If you have a facebook account, join this group, just make sure to have your age visible, They don't accept anyone if they can't see how old you are. They post a list every week of the fics that were completed in the last 7 days

Sadly I don't know of a website. It would be cool if there was one though.

Mainly, I frequently check my favorite authors to see if anything has completed. Otherwise I check the completed stories everyday on ff.net. Since I check everyday I know where I left off on the list. This is the only way I can keep up with it. It also allows me to re-download completed stories that have been updated after completion with outtakes, futuretakes ... Just be sure that you check that final chapter when they do that. I've noticed that many authors will keep the first chapter up and remove all the remaining chapters for whatever reason. I check the last chapter as a precaution so I don't overwrite a completed story.

I have tried to do a spreadsheet and gotten so lost - so-so lost GAH!!! I'm beginning to wonder if I will even be able to find the time or the smarts to keep up. Thanks for your suggestions.

Hi since a lot of you use Flag

I guess maybe you will also find this You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
page usefull.

It works similar to Flag but you can also get all the Stories of an author, users Faves, communities, etc (but so far it will get you max 30 Books >>bad for bigger Com.) and it will send all the files to your email.

OMG! Thanks so much for this rec. I love Flag, but this will do almost all the stories from an author. Okay, all if they have less than 30

Some of my favs don't.

It is a little slower - no instant gratification because it emails it as a zipped file. And if you put a bunch of url's in, it really takes a while. I'm still waiting an hour later, but they are slowly coming in.

So if you want it now, flag or fanfiction downloader, but if you want it all, Story Master!

So now I just have to find all the good authors

I couldn't find any info to confirm that NessiesMomma is Anna DeStefano.
