Has anyone bought the new mini iPad?
« on: October 27, 2012, 08:30 AM »
What do you think of it?  I would love one, but it isn't cheap and the one hundred dollar increments to gain more GB is a bit much when others tablets can do it for less.  I wish it had retinal display as well, and I could do without both cameras.  I don't need to see myself reading a book. :D  I am still debating.
Please excuse any spelling errors.   I have dyslexic fingers!

I received one for Christmas and I love it, I have an I phone so it was easy to figure out.( not so good with electronics) I read books , the kids play games on it , I believe i only have the 16 GB but so far i am not running out of space. I didn't get the WiFi on it because i can use my personal spot on my i phone to share my internet and data if needed..Just a head up if you look on Apple they have refurbished ones that are cheap and you get the same warranty as a new one and all part are new, with proper pces.. Hope that helps :)

I have one too and love the darn thing. I bought it because I have arthritis in my hands and don't like the full weight of the regular iPad. I mostly use it for reading and web surfing- which it's perfect for. The screen is small for certain games (Rosecliff Island has you searching for items that are *very* small on the Mini's screen) but I don't think it's a huge issue on most games. I also watch videos on it all the time and the picture, though smaller, looks just like the one on an iPad 2. Compared to the Retina display the colors are muted (the biggest difference between the two in my opinion). I've had the Nook Color and the Mini and much prefer the Mini.

I also have the smallest one, 16gb wifi only, and that's plenty for what I use it for.
My belt holds up my pants and my pants have belt loops that hold up the belt. What the fuck’s really going on down there? Who is the real hero?
