I don't think you're all that unusual. We all have different sides to us and the part of us we show depends on how we feel about the people we're with at the time. As a professional, I always feel that there are parts of me I can't show my clients and even my friends who are in the same line of work. My family gets my softer side, although I think we're always a little afraid of disappointing our parents and don't let them know about certain aspects of our lives or filter certain aspects of our lives. There are a lot of things I don't want my children to know about from my youthful exploits. Let them come up with their own ideas of how to get into trouble! The person who is most likely to see all my different sides is my husband, because I feel safest with him. Not everyone can say that about their spouse, but luckily, I can. So, is there more to what you are asking? Or do you just need to accept yourself as a normal, multi-faceted person?
