Looking for some suggestions as to any good Audio Books?
« on: October 27, 2015, 07:46 PM »
I listened to one this week, and it wasn't bad,  could get other things done while "reading"    Was thinking someone may have some suggestions what to stay away from and what to look for,  Not looking for sites,  just looking for ideas,

thank you in advance
I am not a complete idiot, some parts are missing    :)

I listen to the same types of books I would enjoy reading with my eyes.  Although there are some books I can listen to that I would not have the patience to sit and read.  Tom Clancy is one example.  There is so much description of weaponry and equipment in his books.  When listening, I can zone out a little until the reader returns to the characters.  So, I would suggest you look for titles that are on your TBR list or venture into something you're curious about, but weren't sure you'd like because of the effort of reading (some really wordy classic, for instance).
