24-yo disabled fibromite seeks book buddies

Hi all! A friend told me this was a great community, so I decided to register and come check y'all out. I love to read and was just gifted an older nook color for my birthday - I'm over the moon about that. I was told this was a good place to discuss the books I'm reading. I have a lot of free time on my hands because I have fibromyalgia and can't work. Reading is a good distraction from the pain and it takes very little energy. Unfortunately I don't meet many friends locally, so I turn to online communities to meet people. I've formed several lasting relationships online, including meeting my husband over World of Warcraft!

My favorite genre is fantasy, but I'll read pretty much anything if it's good. I dabble a bit in writing - I did NaNoWriMo last year and "won" though I did not finish the novel. I have two unfinished novels I'm working on, slowly. I knit and crochet, when I have the energy I really enjoy cooking. I have a fairly large collection of audiobooks and that's really my favorite way to read, but my audiobook budget is limited! I just finished reading The Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss and I am pining terribly for the third book to come out. It's very nice to meet you all and I hope to make some friends here.
