As the competition is increasing every day, the standard of the exams is also increasing according to it. The propose of these exams is to test different aspect of student which includes the time management as well as problem solving ability under pressure. This exam is also following the same set of format as done by most of MBA exams in the country.

The preparation for this exam is an impotent step as it requires time management to crack it. The most important thing for this exam is time management or how to deal with question’s when the clock is ticking. The best way to do this is by regularly practicing the question with clock on one side. The exam have different set of question which are there to test our ability of managing time and to test our approach in solving problem under a limited time period.

The examination pattern consists of multiple choice objective type questions of 200 marks. The number of questions section wise changes as the mark scheme changes in every exam but the total number of marks remains the same. These objectives MCQ covers different aspects of our studies such as the Verbal Reasoning is taken from the English. This includes the questions taken from reading comprehension, which vary in number as well as the number of questions also. Other than this, the questions are of jumble sentence, grammar and vocabulary.  The Quantitative Ability and Reasoning is taken from math’s which deals in the questions related to functions, trigonometry, number system, permutation and combination, equations, coordinate geometry, probability, data sufficiency, series, compound interest, maxima and minima, logs, integration and differentiation etc. the section of Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning is based on different real life problems which includes single & two dimensional data problems and other problems based on line graph, pie chart and tables. The GK covers most of the current affair topics. The GK also test the knowledge about history, Geography, Indian constitution, global business environment, Science, major global events and with all this it also cover the topics related to business world such as top business executives names who have been in news in recent times, mergers and acquisition,etc.  The time limit for these questions is 120 minutes only.

Eligibility Criteria

The basic eligibility criteria for candidates Indian Institute of Foreign Trade Master of Business Administration (International Business) Admission Test is graduation course with 3 years duration. Candidates of any age group who satisfies the eligibility criteria can appear for the exam.
Structure and Syllabus for IIFT MBA (IB)

IIFT MBA (IB) examination is of two hours duration and the questions for the exam will be objective type. The questions will be included from the following four areas.

Quantitative Analysis

Critical reasoning,

General Knowledge & Awareness

English Comprehension

Based on the score of the candidate in the entrance examination, he will be short listed and called for the later stage of the admission process which includes Group Discussion, Interview. There will be an essay writing session also, for final selection.
