amc's The Walking Dead
« on: September 26, 2012, 06:29 AM »
The Walking Dead, one of the best show's on tv, is returning Oct. 14. What do you think will happen in season 3? Are you stoked Merle is back, and where the heck has he been? Anyone else think Daryl Dixon is the baddest mo-fo on the planet? Which cast members do you think will become zombie snacks this season?

The time line in the Walking Dead universe makes me wanna pull my hair out sometimes. Groups are sometimes hours ahead or behind each other sometimes even days ( I think) drives me nuts trying to figure it out (lol). That is why I hate when they are all scattered around like that, hard to keep track. How far was Morgan from Rick and the group when he was passing the Terminus sign (ugh)? Morgan would be a good ally to have with all those walker traps he builds. Side note, both Rosita and Eugene will be on the Talking Dead next week. Wonder if one or both will die.

Okay so I totally spaced out and didn't post a comment on last week's episode but I think everyone knew that Eugene was a liar, liar, pants on fire and did not have a cure for the outbreak nor was he a scientist. I wanted to give Abraham a high five for clocking the pompous jerk-off and laying his ass flat like he did. How creepy was it when he watched Abraham and Rosita have sex (lol) and ewww. Now about this week's episode which focused on Carol and Daryl. My favorite non-couple ( I am not like most who think they have some sexual tension between them, I see it as more of a mother/son or big sister/ little brother type relationship). They run across Noah from the hospital, after he steals their weapons. They get them back and Carol is hit by the car driven by the hospital whack-os. I guess next week will deal with Daryl and Noah getting Rick and the others from the church and they head to the hospital to break out Beth and Carol. I wasn't really a fan of this episode, I can't put my finger on why it was just kinda ho-hum for me. Only two episodes left before mid-season finale. Wonder if any major characters will die in what looks to be a show-down between Rick's group and Officer Dawn's hospital group?

Yes  I agree   a little bit lacking this episode  like you I think they are a great non couple too.    I would hate to see them have a sexual relationship.    It is a set up for a grand mid season finale I think

Oh well   just a another few days   lol  then the long wait

My way of thinking   they can make soaps every day  they should make this every day     lol

Yay! A finale so nice, I watched it twice! Last night's mid-season finale "Coda" was really very good considering the last 3 or 4 TWD episodes before it were kinda draggy and very talky. Coda did not disappoint me. I mean it started off with Rick running down, and shooting one of the Grady Hospital cops. Jeez, I really wanted Father Gabriel to get eaten by a Walker. The guy is just horrible. He's a coward and if he had gotten killed, it would have been justice for him leaving his church members outside to die. But alas, Michonne and Carl saved his sorry butt. I'm really glad our gang's all back together again... except for Beth. Poor Beth got her head blown off by Officer Dawn. Lot's of people on line say they were shocked it was Beth and a lot said they were pretty bummed about losing Beth. I for one was not surprised, I've always thought it was gonna be either her or Carol who were gonna die. Just really glad it was her and not Carol. Hate to say it, but Beth was, in my opinion, one of the weakest characters on the show and didn't add much to the group. Yeah she babysat lil Ass-kicker when the rest of the group was doing other stuff ( Tyreese now has that job) she spontaneously broke out into song whenever the mood hit her ( which I found extremely annoying) and she flirted with Daryl ( which I found a bit uncomfortable to watch.. isn't she more closer in age to Carl than she is to Daryl?) I know they where trying to make it seem as if she had grown up and become stronger but then that was all completely negated by the way she died... stabbing Dawn with the scissors was just stupid and childish. It got her killed. Now Maggie's the only Greene left and we have to see next season how she recovers from it all. Yeah, I ain't gonna miss Beth at all. I guess next season the group will finally leave Georgia. All in all, I really enjoyed the mid-season finale. Cannot wait for Feb. for new season. :-*

OOOO, P.S.  Looks as if Morgan finally catches up to Rick's group. Wonder if he will join the cast full time next season?

Loving it     Hate having to wait
Was sad to see Beth die   as she had started to become more interesting
But as one member exits    we gain another one  that they get to grow
Might start watching from the beginning at some stage   over the summer

Yay! Last night was the first episode of the new season of The Walking Dead! Yet again, this show has managed to surprise me. Did not see this one coming at all! I was fooled into thinking they were burying and grieving over Beth, but nay, seems as if we lose another member of the group... The episode started off with Noah, Glenn, Rick, Michonne and Tyreese in a van heading towards Richmond, Va. to Noah's hometown, hoping to find sanctuary. But when they arrive at what they hope would be a safe place, we find the gated community had been breached and overrun with walkers. Michonne, Rick and Glenn head off in search of supplies for the group, while Ty and Noah go to his old home. Noah's mother is dead on the floor, one of his brothers is lying on a bed also dead. Tyreese starts looking at pictures on the bedroom wall. Pictures of Noah and his twin brothers. he becomes so engrossed in the pictures he doesn't see Noah's other brother come up behind him and chomps him on the arm. Noah comes in kills his walker brother and runs in search of help for Tyreese. Tyreese falls to the floor and starts hallucinating about some of the dead people he had come across. We get to see Carol's girls, Mika and Lizzie, Bob, Beth, Martin ( the guy from Terminus that Ty was supposed to have killed but didn't) and the Governor. I wanted Ty to survive, but he doesn't. Even after an amputation of the bite infected arm a la Hershel and his leg. Wonder why they didn't try cauterizing the wound there? He dies of blood lose. Doon't get me wrong, I knew Tyreese would die, maybe saving someone else, but not like this and not so soon. Man, it was the FIRST EPISODE!!! Cant wait till next week's episode >:D

Last night's episode of the Walking Dead entitled "The Distance" dealt with newcomer, Aaron and if he had a safe haven for Rick and the rest of the group. I gotta say I was like Rick for a second and was skeptical as hell about trusting a guy who looked as if he stepped off the cover of Men's Health magazine or something. I mean he was like, clean and looked like the zombie Apocalypse had missed him entirely(lol). I don't think I would have punched him like Rick did but I would have been wary of his motives. Especially after all they've been through. I loved how Michonne kinda took the lead and told him yes they would go back with him. I laughed so hard when Aaron didn't want to eat the applesauce, he was almost willing to take the bullet instead of eating it. I mean, who doesn't like applesauce? lol. Glenn driving through the walker herd kinda made me sick especially when Michonne had to pull the Walker parts from the front grill ( yuck) and he wiped the splatters off with his arm! We finally get our first gay characters on the Walking Dead Aaron and his boyfriend, Eric. I know Tara is a lesbian, but they barely let her have a girlfriend she was like killed off so fast. Man, I hope Alexandria is a safe haven for the group, cause they could really use some good fortune right about now.  :-*

I know cavey, I loved last nights episode as well. Im not sure if I trust the Alexandria community either, but we shall see.I hope it is as it seems, cause Rick and his crew really have been screwed over when it comes to trusting other groups. Woodbury and Terminus come to mind. I love how they all slept together in the one house (man, seems we have to have a zombie Apocalypse to get houses like that) lol. So happy Rick shaved that God-awful Grizzly Adam's beard off. Daryl and the possum had me cracking up too. He seems to be the most wary of the community. Did not like Deanna's son, a totally douche-bag glad Glenn pooped him one. Can't wait for next week! P.S. I heard the season finally will be 90 minutes long YAY! :)

Loved last night's episode of TWD. Daryl and Eric's attempt at trying to save the horse from the walkers was really interesting to watch. I love the interaction between Daryl, Eric and Aaron at dinner. I can't wait to see Daryl riding a motorcycle again (lol). Could you imagine Daryl riding up to you on the back of a hog and telling you he's gonna take you to a safe place? Just drool worthy! (lol) It seems as if most of Rick's group is finding it easier to assimilate than others (Carol, Sasha and Rick). Poor Sasha, when she had the outburst at the party, I felt so bad for her. But I do think if she doesn't get better soon she will either get killed or get someone else killed. Carol scared the crap out of not only that little boy, but me as well when she said what would happen to him if he told anyone she was taking guns from the armory. Yikes! The messed up part is I think she would actually follow through with her threat! (lol) I wonder who carved the "W" on the walkers head? I can't wait for next week's episode! I'm going to try Carol's cookie recipe, no butter just applesauce lol. :D

Please tell me what the cookies taste like

I loved last nights episode    it ended too soon        I just KNOW  that not all is as it seems    and Rick kissing that girl  ( can't think of her name)   with hubby not far away is going to casue some problems

I am waiting to see who they don't accept in the family   lol    and I had a feeling that the A stamped on their hand had some meaning as well

Yes the W         I want to know who did that    My husband was upset when the horse was killed     he was hoping that they caught him and made him safe

But that also begs the question   if they eat animals   can animals become zombies         they had this in Z Nation       animals can turn too

this is far better than what I am meant to be doing at this moment    I am in court listening to Bail Applications  from those that have already  been declined   Oh well.   I do tell the Judge   that Breach of Bail should mean Arse in Jail

:D OMG cavey, was reading your reply in bed, got to the Breach part laughed so hard and loud my bf came running from the bathroom and stubbed his toe! (thanks alot) lol. I plan on making those cookies soon and will tell how they came out. I don't think the animals change. Do you remember when Rick gave the pigs to  the walkers nothing happened to them except they got eaten. I was also really kinda moved by the scene with  Michonne putting up her Kitana on the wall.

OMG last night's episode of the Walking Dead had me looking like this  :o times ten. I mean I know the show can get a bit graphic but dang, I was screamin' like a sinner in church watching Aiden, then Noah get chomped on by Walkers. Noah's death has got to be the most graphic, gruesome death in TWD history. Poor Glenn had to just sit there and watch that. Man, the look on his face... just shattering. I kinda felt that Noah was gonna die NEVER make plans on this show, don't talk about the future just live in the now cause the second you start talking about future stuff YOU ARE TOAST! lol. I almost felt bad for Aiden till he confessed to leaving the other group from a previous run, behind.I was wondering why Glenn or someone else hadn't shot Aiden in the head after they realized they couldn't save him ( would have been more humane in my opinion) but then my boyfriend said they had a limited supply of bullets so why waste them on a dead man walking? I said I would have shot him (my boyfriend) in the head so he wouldn't have to suffer to which he replied, "Awww babe, that's the sweetest thing you've ever said to me. I would shoot you in the head as well." :D :D Yeah, we are weird like that. So much stuff happened in this episode, Carol wants to kill Jessie's husband cause he's an abuser like her husband, Ed. We got to see Daryl on his new bike (drool) and Father Gabriel is a cowardly Judas. I cannot wait till he becomes a Walker Happy Meal, just saying. Next week looks really good can't wait >:D

Okay   Watched this last night      next minute it was all over    Seemed like one of the shortest episodes ever   ( just that action packed)

I love how the Group are slowly taking over     and not because they are power hungry  but because they are the best at what they do.    You also know that things are going to get tough when Glen and them get back  as the snot nosed coward from the town  cant remember his name  ( could be something to do with the pain killers I have swallowed     Wonders if I should be allowed in a court room today)   will tell everyone that it was Glen and Noah's fault that they didn't all make it back          At least  the guy on the Building Crew  gave RED  credit      ( another name that is escaping me this morning)           And I am pleased they have listened to Rick and building the second wall    with the supports in the inside     double safety from outside.   But we all know it is going to turn to Shyte inside those walls      as Long as Rick and his gang come out on top   I am happy

I hope you, feel better soon, cavey. I never thought I'd say this, but Eugene was actually a hero in this episode. Ge saved Tara's life as well  as Glenn's. Yeah I don't think Deanna will take the death of her son well, especially after what father Gabriel said to her. I know Rick's group can take them with no problem.
