amc's The Walking Dead
« on: September 26, 2012, 06:29 AM »
The Walking Dead, one of the best show's on tv, is returning Oct. 14. What do you think will happen in season 3? Are you stoked Merle is back, and where the heck has he been? Anyone else think Daryl Dixon is the baddest mo-fo on the planet? Which cast members do you think will become zombie snacks this season?

Well I am off work this arvo  on  Leave    which might be good   as I unintentionally stirred up great piles of Cow pats at work today.   There is an election today for the Health and safety site rep position  which I have held for the past 5 years   as no one else was interested.   ( not a paid job  sort of like an extension of First aider)      two other people were nominated    any way   I put out a global email telling them to vote for me and everything I had done while I was there.   One of the woman  ( not a nominee) in another area took exception to the fact I had done this   and screamed to management about it not being fair  as she could not refute what I had said  and could't give me the feedback I deserve   ( you just know she is not a fan  lol)  She has never volunteered for anything,,,  very negative.   Anyway  they decided to put off the voting until tomorrow  so the other 2 could have a chance to talk to everyone.      talk about mountain out of a mole hill.    The funny thing is  no one was interested  ever  until there was a mention of a couple of days training.   ( I live and breath this stuff as it is my husbands profession and I hear about it day in and day out , he has been a amanger in this area  for some rather large NZ firms)

Anyway  back to our fav topic   walking dead    Wonder if I can feed the poisoned pygmy  ( the one that started this at work) to the ones that got Noah   that would be graphic enough for my tastes.
I am not a complete idiot, some parts are missing    :)

Ahh hun, I hope it all works out for you in the end. If the zombie Apocalypse ever happens, she can be the main one we jam in a revolving door. Or tie a couple of raw steaks to her and send her running through a walker herd. :D

Since that could be a ways off yet   I thought a pork chop around her neck  and throw her off the end of the local wharf,  there have been great whites spotted around this area recently    may as well feed them.

I have learned   through one of the murder trials I worked in   that should you try and cut the head off someone with a $16.99 tree saw from the local discount shop  ( after you have smothered them)   then stuff the body in a large suitcase   and go to throw it off the said wharf    You should not put your cargo pants covered in blood in there  with your passport still in the leg pocket     Nothing like helping the police find you

Oh  and I forgot to say     when you have the body in the suitcase   you then lug it down all the apartment stairs  ( lift not working)  then call a taxi    and then get him to help you put it in the boot of the car    then take the taxi to the same wharf....

No,  lets face it,  most Crims are not exactly the smartest  little cookies in the packet     and I love how tghey all look stunned at how they were caught   If you put it in a tv programn or a movie   no  one would ever believe it

Wow   that seemed very short last night      I was stunned at how quick it all went              Now for Rick and his group to take over     So we sort of know that the girl is doing the W's on the heads

Mind you   who tied that girl to the tree and let the Walkers feed?    mmmm?         thinks there is more going on than we know

I am not sure I loved Michone  taking Rick out   though Rick was out of control   but it is causing dissension amongst their group

I personally would throw open the gates   and let the walkers decided   then clear them out and make the place my own

I don't think Deanna would exile Rick simply because she knows how desperately they need him and his group. Besides, they could not take them in a fight, not with twitchy Sasha and scary Carol around (lol). Michonne had to stop Rick, he was out of control and an out of control Rick isn't good for anybody. She had to diffuse a very volatile situation, one that could have gotten people killed. Where the heck was Maggie and why hasn't she given her group a heads up to what Father Gabriel said to Deanna? I want to know who that group Aaron andDaryl saw in the woods is? Where the heck is Morgan? He should have caught up with Rick's group by now. I hope we don't lose anymore group members I don't think I could take it lol. Got so many questions and next week's 1 and a half hour finale better answer some of them. :)

I cannot wait for next weeks finale   but I and disappointed that it has gone so fast  and we will have to wait for the next season     ( I am of course hopeful they will continue with this show)

Yes  I understood why Micchone had to stop Rick     just disappointed Rick was thinking with his littlest head,    and I am worried now as to what is going to happen

Like you I wonder why Maggie hasn't said anything     and why they didn't just feed Father Gabriel to the Walkers when they had the chance

We may well loose another group member   but I am doubtful it will be one of the Core cast  ( unless it is baby Judith Or Glen  or carol   like in the Graphic Novels)    I think they tend to pick up passer byes  and then they knock them off      a little like the old Star trek Series  where if they didn't have a name   or were not a regular  they were the ones to die horribly)

Have you noticed that on the Walking Dead if a particular character gets an episode or is focused on more than usual, then they are soon killed off. Like Beth, Hershel and Noah. So, if they follow that formula then its more likely to be Carol or maybe Sasha or both. I would hate to see Carol go but she has been getting lots of screen time lately. I keep seeing posts were the writers have said the fans will be shocked and angry at the season's finale. Im just hoping its not Daryl. Too soon for Glenn cause he doesn't die this soon if you follow the comics. Can't wait till Sunday night! >:D

I thought you might want to try Carol's applesauce cookies!  INGREDIENTS: 1/4 CUP APPLESAUCE 1/4 LARGE CHOCOLATE BAR 1/4 TEASPOON BAKING SODA 1/4 BAKING POWDER 1/4 CUP SHORTENING 1 CUP FLOUR 1/8 TEASPOON SALT 1/4 CUP BROWN SUGAR 1/4 WHITE SUGAR AND 1/4 TEASPOON VANILLA.  DIRECTIONS: PREHEAT OVEN TO BAKE AT 350 F. IN A LARGE BOWL, COMBINE APPLESAUCE, SHORTENING, BROWN AND WHITE SUGARS. MIX UNTIL SHORTENING IS BLENDED. ADD BAKING POWDER, BAKING SODA, FLOUR SALT AND VANILLA. MIX UNTIL DOUGHY AND FLOUR IS FULLY ABSORBED. LET DOUGH STAND FOR THREE TO FIVE MINUTES. MELT CHOCOLATE. AND MELTED CHOCOLATE TO DOUGH AND MIX TILL FULLY BLENDED. PLACE GOLF BALL SIZED DOLLOPS OF DOUGH ONTO A NON-STICK COOKIE SHEET (ABOUT TWO INCHES APART). BAKE AT 350 FOR 11 TO 13 MINUTES. REMOVE FROM OVEN AND LET COOL. MAKES A DOZEN COOKIES.

Well      that is it until the next season

Talk about on the edge of my seat     I was sure Glen was done for.....  Wasn't too sure if Daryl was a gonner either.

Damn   now we have to wait,    but on a positive note       I see they are making a pre equal    with one of my favourite NZ actors  Cliff Curtis in the lead   ( though how long before they turn him into Zombie Fodder)

I will give those biscuits a burl   in the next week or so,   ( not the same not having kids at home any more    they are all off flatting)

I really liked last night's 90 min. season finale. I thought it was one of the best so far. A few things I didn't like, Father Gabriel not dying was my biggest gripe. How this POS is still breathing is a wonder to me. I sooo wanted a Walker to feast on his faithless ass when he went outside the gates. I was hoping Sasha would have finished him off in the church--- that little prayer circle Sasha, Maggie and Gabriel had at the end had me shaking my head! The scene were Aaron and Daryl were at the trucks, just before they opened it, I was wondering 'so the Walkers were just standing there the whole time and didn't make a peep to let them know that maybe there weren't any cans in there?' It was FULL of Walkers and not a sound was made till they opened the truck! Really!? I loved how Rick was still bad-ass  and defiant even in the face of banishment. Carol had the best lines and scenes of the night. When she confronted Pete with the knife had him shaking and cowering I just died lol. When she said the Alexandrians were basically children who wanted to be told bed times stories I totally agreed with her. Morgan. Morgan. Morgan. (chant it with me now, lol.) He finally catches up with Rick's group and just in time to, saving Aaron and my baby Daryl from being Walker happy meals. I'm so glad he's gonna be a cast regular now. Did you see the way he kicked those two "W" bastards butts? Epic Jedi master stuff lol. I don't understand why Glenn did not kill Nicholas after he tried to kill him. I mean come on, he earned that bullet, Glenn. lol. I think next season he will regret not putting a bullet in that weasel's head. I hated there were so many darn commercials. You give us 90 minutes but 30 minutes of that was commercials. Cannot wait for next season. THE WOLVES ARE COMING!!!! >:D :-*

p.s. forgot to mention Reg's and Pete's death! Wow, Deanna sure changed her tune when Pete accidently killed Reg. Before that she was all civilized "we don't do that here" bs the second Reg dies she told Rick ( the guy she was seconds away from banishing) to kill Pete. Hypocrite. Guess it's time to break out the Ricktatorship (lol). :D

I have to admit   when Deanna said to do it  to Rick  and he did without hesitation    It was brilliant    My husband sat there and said   About time     Ricks Group knows they have to let the mongrel out   to survive   not pussy foot around      Pete was always going to go out of control

*letting the mongrel out*   not sure if you use that expression    it means to go off the leash and get down and dirty and do what you have to do.....
