I've been digging up old movies lately...

Leon: The Professional [1994] - I fell in love with this movie! it's now one of my favorite movies of all time... I can't believe I waited this long to see it...

Se7en [1995] - Seen this movie many times and still love it...

Goodfellas [1990] - I think this one is a little overrated...

1. Les Intouchables
Very heartwarming, funny, and doesn't seem too made-up (probably because it's a true story)

2. The Perks of being a Wallflower
I loved the cast. The movie's almost as good as the book.

3. Taken 2
Entertaining and that's all there is to it.

We love going to the movies

Okay last 3 I have seen

Django Unchained   Loved it, typical Tarrantino  lots of humour

Hansel and Gretel Witch finders   Brilliant   loved this idea and the story

The Hobbit  ( part 1)   sorry all Kiwi's   not overly impressed   but I am not a huge LTR fan

I will let you know what the next three at the movies I will be seeing

I am looking forward to the New Die Hard
I am not a complete idiot, some parts are missing    :)

Hamlet [David Tennant]:  He did a good job of hamlet and while the setting was modern, it didn't seem to convey the story as well as the other one I listed.  I liked his Hamlet better than Hawke's and I liked the emotion he put behind it.  It only slipped a couple times and I could see Doctor Who instead of Hamlet.

Hamlet [Ethan Hawke]:  This is the movie that actually made me understand Hamlet.  I rather like this version.  It is set in a modern context but it conveys more the intensity and drama behind it.

The Italian Job [the first one]  What can I say?  I love the movie.  It's old but it is still a classic to me and much better than the new one.  Having watched a documentary on the making of it added to the story.  For example the producers wife is the wife of the Texas cousin because the producer who was being sent these beautiful Italian girls wanted a "Little blonde scrubber" for the part.  I'm sure he slept on the couch for a  couple weeks for that one or the fact that he is the one loading the cars into the truck because no stuntman would do it.    "Hang on a minute lads, I've got a great idea …"

The Avengers - saw it when it first came out, but just had to see it again. For those who caught the first glimpse of this film back in '08 in The Incredible Hulk andpatiently waited for 4 years for this, you get it!  :)

Gangster Squad - I'm a girl, so of course I love me some Ryan Gosling, and Emma Stone is just hilarious, BUT did not for some reason get into the story. So, not a fan.

MI4: Ghost Protocol - Tom Cruise is ageless. This is my favourite MI film, so had to watch it again.

In theaters:

1. The World's End - I laughed and giggled mostly in disbelief at the absurdity of the movie, but I still enjoyed it.
2. Elysium - I wasn't exactly sure what to expect, and I enjoyed it.  Jodie Foster totally creeped me out though.
3. Riddick - Had fun with this movie.  None of the subsequent movies have been as good as Pitch Black, but I still want to see Riddick eventually make his way back to Furya.

On DVD/netflix:

1. Dredd - Karl Urban kicked ass as Judge Dredd.  I want a sequel.
2. Now You See Me - This was a fun movie.  There were inconsistencies, but I was entertained.
3. Oblivion - I must be the only person who thought this movie was just blah.  I don't know the last time I enjoyed a movie Tom Cruise was in.   :(

R.E.D. 2             I loved this movie,    was a worthwhile sequel    Helen Mirren  is wonderful, as is the rest of the cast.

Mortal Instruments  City of Bones      only good part in this movie  was when my husband and I sat down next to a group of teenagers   they all shuffled along so they didn't  have to sit by creepy old man in their movie   ( mind you   anyone over 25 is creepy and old to them)

Now you see me Now you don't      As someone said   a few inconsistencies   but loved the movie    Although I did pick the "twist"  very early on

1. World War Z - I basically just laughed through the whole thing. It was sooo cheesy.
2. Now You See Me - Totally lame. Didn't like it one bit lol the twist was a "WTF" moment haha
3. 42 - Awesome movie.

The Green Mile - which I have had for a long time but never watched. Enjoyed it.
The new Footloose. The 80's music redone was interesting.
World War Z, which I did like.
Now you See Me - the teens and parents enjoyed this movie.
Can I just win the lottery so that my only decision in my life will be which book to read today? Please?

Sometimes I press the thank you button, just because someone else chose to share here with us.

Last movies I've seen are:

Septimo (Seventh): an Argentinian film about a lawyer whose children are kidnapped. Pretty good, the whole movie takes place at the same building, just a few scenes are in a different location. The ending is surprising.

Crazy, Stupid Love: four words: almost naked Ryan Gosling  :D :D

Boston Strangler: The Untold Story: Boring, I saw it with friends, and we chatted the whole time, not paying attention to the movie.

Nothing takes out the taste out of peanut butter quite like unrequited love
