Team Competition: Book Trivia Competitions
« on: December 21, 2013, 11:50 PM »
Welcome to the newest PTS initiative.
Team Competition: Book Trivia Competitions

Rules:
1. Four teams would be formed by volunteering members of even number of members (as per the number of people who sign up.) As more people join, they will be added.)
2. There will be a book trivia posted, i.e., plot details, character descriptions, quotes or background descriptions, etc that will not be completely obvious but will be as unique as they can be.
3. Every trivia post for a book must have at least two things of those mentioned to form a valid question.
4. After the first question, the next question will be posted by the team who answered the first question. Then the team who answers their question will ask the next one and so on.
5. The Mods (those who don't participate in the competition) will be the game-masters. They will have the ability to add special book themes. These themes will run for four questions after they have been introduced.
6. If the other teams feel a need for another hint, they will have to DONATE the amount equal to the number of their team members to PTS. After confirmation by one of the game-masters, the questioning team will PM the hint to the donating team.
7. Any further details will be introduced later as the need arises.
8. Be fair - NO CHEATING! - and have fun!

I've stopped this game too long. Sorry. Next time i'll pick an easier one.
The book is Two Roads by Lili St. Germain.

Well i did Google it, but i thought it would be against the game's rule :P

And no worry, i think we two are the one even playing  :D

The little girl yanked at the binds tied around her wrists. Two nurses stood over her. One held up a long, glistening needle attached to a tube snaking under the gurney. The girl wanted to lash out and kick the women, but nylon straps strangled her ankles against the metal rungs of the bed.

As one nurse held the girl’s left arm steady, the one with the needle tightened an elastic band just above the girl’s elbow. Soon the veins in her arm bulged. With her fingers the nurse began pushing at a vein, coaxing it closer to the surface. The artery’s bluish-purplish tint contrasted against the girl’s lightly tanned skin. She lowered the needle to the skin.
