iPad question
« on: March 02, 2015, 10:51 AM »
I have a first generation iPad.  It is quickly running out of memory.  Does anyone know anything about using the Cloud external hard drive?  I need to figure out how to get my iBooks stored somewhere else.  Does anyone else use an iPad??

Thanks so much in advance for any info you can give me!

I have an iPad Air. So not sure how close this will work.

I have all my books, okay fanfiction epubs, on my Google drive. I have an app to access the drive. I also have iBooks. Most of my stories are epub format. PDFs can be read directly by Google, but you have to have a continuous connection.  The epubs give me a message that Google can't read them and would I like to open them in another program. IBooks is always an option. So I choose it and read.

Now after I'm done I can delete it because it still is in my Google drive if I want to read it again.

I'm also sure this would be easier with Apple cloud drive. But Google gives me 15 GBs free and I have multiple accounts Which I can link to the drive app.  Hope this helps
