Ok, I hope somebody can help me. I know it is part of a serie. It's an romance and supernatural book. 18+. And it starts with her moving into her new house, that she got from her dead grandfather. She thinks she is only a quarter were-bear. But in the end she is I believe either half or 100% werebear. She moved into werebear territory. On her first day of moving she finds an werecub in her kitchen. There is a lot of noise at the door and she is attacked. The sherif saves her. They fall in love, but there are a lot of problems before they can be together. One of them is that he is the head of the clan, Katani or something like that if I remember correctly. But they do end up together. And the other books are about the sherif his brothers who fall in love. With all the problems that come with it :P Anyone a clue?

Hey, I'm not at all sure this is the one, but I think there is a baby bear in this book - No Ifs, Ands, or Bears About It by Celia Kyle.

Hi guys, Im looking for this twilight fanfiction, where one day the cullens would find a series of books on their doorstep. its the Twilight series, and they'll start reading it. All the Cullens are present, from Carlisle to Renesmee. later, Jacob, Seth and Leah also join in. There's one scene in the first chapter itself, i think, where Charlie mentions that Dr.Cullen is a good man, and Carlisle hears it from the study and feels very grateful and says that it was very nice of Charlie to say that... the fanfic itself is not a series, its just one fanfic, but it includes all the books in the series. Around 89 chapters, i think.. I read it around  3 years ago... Genre maybe Family/Romance/Humor... It had a lot of reviews... I'd be so gateful if anyone can find this fanfic..
Thank you so much in advance!!!  ^-^

I don't remember much. Bella was a good, Christian girl. I think she went to a private, religious school. Edward was a bad boy. Charlie and Renee were separated or divorced. Renee was a strict, religious mom that mentally abused Bella by her strictness. There was instance where things got smutty between Edward and Bella in a library. Bella later lived with Charlie as she dated Edward and Charlie felt guilty as hell for leaving Bella in that type of environment.

I remember that the h, the mom had something like a graphic company and one son, the H had two sons, and they were all working at the bike shop..

It sounds a little like "Dog Days of Summer by PJ Fiala, but I cannot tell for sure since I haven't actually read the book!
blurb:
Jeremiah ("Dog") Sheppard is a hard-working motorcycle shop owner with two grown sons. After serving his country in Iraq and coming home to raise his boys, Dog has built his business from the ground up. He’s loving, strong, responsible, dependable, and a great father, son, and brother. After getting his business off the ground, he feels strongly about helping local veterans and does so through an annual charity ride, The Veterans’ Ride, in which all money raised is donated to local veterans.
Joci James is the single mother of a grown son, Gunnar. She has her own graphic design/marketing business. Joci meets Jeremiah when Gunnar starts working at the motorcycle shop and asks her to help plan the next Veterans’ Ride with them.
The attraction and tension are undeniable. Joci has been cheated on in her past and is afraid of having her heart broken. She has a difficult time allowing her feelings for Jeremiah to grow. However, Jeremiah is persistent.
This is a story of love and family, trust and devotion.
Due to the nature of this story, readers should be 18 years of age or older.

Searching for a Harlequin Presents novel that I once read through PTS, and hoping some can help me track it down... Here's a play by play:

h's dad embezzled from his company so h comes to the CEO H to try to reason with him
She chose to try because he'd once hit on her so she thought she might have a chance at getting her dad her job back and making sure the authorities aren't alerted
H makes an offer: h becomes his mistress, and he'll make sure no one learns of it but dad won't get his job back
h, desperate, agrees
h lives in a town outside of London, so they meet that weekend... H learns she's a vurgin and offers her an out, she doesn't have to be his mistress
h decides she wants to and they meet every week from then on
One train ride, h sees gossip about H in a magazine where he's with another woman
h ends it with H
....but her parents still know she's dating H so she fakes and engagement to him for her parents, unbeknownst to the H

Drama ensues...

Bump. Look familiar to anyone?

Ok, this is a long shot, but I have to try.

It's a contemporary romance. I don't remember much about H and h. H and h used to date I think, and h's family hated him. Just that h had a best friend who liked to cross-dress and that H had a sister who started dating h's best friend. IIRC h's family was opposed to her dating H. And when H found out about cross-dressing BF, he freaked out and told his sister to stop dating him. The sister and BF were working things out. It was hinted that they would have their own book.

Thanks!

I'm looking for a children's trilogy, where Time is an important theme.

All I remember is
1. There was a boy being sent away to a house where guardians called "Time Lords" manage time.
2. In this House, there was a scene where he was suffocating and could not breathe.
3. The boy later comes through to Earth, where he meets a human boy and possibly his sister.
4. On Earth, he is unable to understand some things like cars and describes them as moving mechanical objects.
5. The front of the cover has a spiral-like splash and a boy on it.
6. I believe that it could be a female author, but am not sure.
7. Was published before 2010.

I've been looking for this for a long time now, digging through book-search sites, Amazon and even library search bars. Would greatly appreciate it if anyone could help me out. Thank you!

Are you referring to the Guardians of Time trilogy by Marianne Curley?
The books in the trilogy are; The Named, The Dark and The Key.

I've attached the cover of The Named for you.

Total, ridiculous long shot, but this is what I can remember - it's pitifully little... 8)

Late 90s romantic suspense (maybe? possibly?). I know it's not recent (like, not the last decade), at least.

Cop/protector hero dude. Want to say he has a giant adorable dog of some kind (maybe a husky? black lab?). Anyway, he's protecting this chick (from a stalker? rapist? murderer? god, I'm useless...). And he/she (one of them) has this tree house cottage thing out of the city, so they go there to get away from the bad dude... for "protection" (bow chicka wow wow)...

And that's all I've got. Halp meeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Hi, everyone, I need help remembering a book!

I downloaded it, started reading it and then life got in the way, and I totally forgot about it.  :(
All I remeber is that it was a historical romance - the hero was a highlander/warrior/alpha type and he was captured by someone. His enemies, I presume. When he was brought to the enemy village, they locked him up in some kind of a shed.
The heroine is a mute, but I'm not sure about that, I just know something was not right. I think she had a female friend who maybe talked to her in sign language, I don't remember.
Anyways, the mean dude who captured the hero forces the heroine to be a spy and to get the hero talking. They lock both of them in the shed together and they spend the night. I don't remember what happened next.

I think that there is also a sequel to this book where the heroine is pregnant or something. Or maybe I'm just completely confused now  :D    I don't know, but please someone, ANYONE help me remember this book!!! :)

Hi, I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place or if it has been found already, but the book that mejzi asked about the mute heroine and the Highland warrior who was locked in the shed is: Highlander Unchained (Highlander Trilogy #1) by Donna Fletcher. It is a trilogy I think.

Hi! I hope you could help me here. I only remembered the synopsis of the book since I haven't read it yet.

The books is a time travel romance wherein the heroine I think is in her mid 30's or in her early 40's. She had just a divorce from her husband. She wanted another chance in life. I think she acquired something from a shop (not sure about this part) then she travels back into the past in Scotland (I think). She ends up in a young lady's body who is the wife of the hero who is a laird (all I know is that he is the leader of his clan). Though the real personality of the owner of the body has a rather cold personality but it changes due to her. Well that's all I remember.

Not sure if anyone else found it but I think it is Awaken, My Love by Robin Schone

Hi! I read this short story recently but I can't remember what it is called and it is driving me cray cray! I believe it is a regency romance short story.

The story is starts out with a piece of heirloom falling behind a table or a dresser. The new French maid is accused of the theft and dismissed without reference. The cook gives her some food and a red cloak. She wears the red cloak to keep warm. After a few days in the streets, she is very hungry. (I THINK she adopts a cat at this point, but I am not very sure. She puts the cat in a basket. Not sure if I am mixing up stories. )

She is mistaken by a group of young men to be a prostitute because of the red cloak. They decided to hire her for their friend who has recently come into his inheritance and has been working too hard. She is his type because she has an innocent face. (Before considering her, one of the friends suggested another girl and another of the friends say she is likely to give him the pox.) They offer her a shocking amount. Misunderstanding her silence to mean that the amount is not enough, they offer a higher amount. She wonders what is wrong with their friend, that he needs his friends to buy a woman for him. She agrees, but decides that it will only be a once off thing.

The hero returns to his room to find the heroine in his (hotel?) bed. He was tired at first and a little annoyed, but after seeing her face, his desire is stirred. She is wearing an over-sized nightgown belonging to one of his friends' mistresses. After a kiss (?) he figures that she is innocent and refuses to take her virginity. He sleeps in the parlor (?).

The next morning, (He is disturbed by her cat?) (she tries to sneak off?) he offers her the position of companion to his mother, who is also french. His mother has been lonely since his father died.

They travel together, but is caught by a snow storm (?) and is forced to spend a night at an old lady's place. The old lady has arthritis and is unable to decorate the house for Christmas. They help her decorate. They share a kiss. The old lady is apprehensive because her son is bringing his fiance/new wife to visit. Old lady is fearful of rejection. The next morning, before the hero and heroine leave, they witness the old lady meeting her daughter-in-law for the first time and it was a sweet moment. They were both fearful of rejection. (I am unsure about this whole paragraph. Don't know whether I am mixing up stories.)

When they arrive, the hero's mother meet them at the door, and the hero introduces the heroine as his future wife, to the shock of both the heroine and the mother. The mother says the father was also very decisive. The heroine then confess everything, about her meeting the hero in bed. Turns out everything was alright because the heroine is a french aristocrat emigrant who fled from France when she was a child.

I remember that the ending was not very satisfying but the story was good!! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello there friendly peeps,

I think its a fairly new book, i read one of the descriptions recently while browsing.

Its a Historical Romance, about a girl watching the guy having intercourse with one of the maids. He sees her then follows her and they have a confrontation, the guy is to wed her younger sister as apparently her "season" is up. The guy naturally is peaked by the girl and wonders if he chose the wrong sister.

Also, does anyone when know Hot Ticket from Olivia Cunning is coming out?

Thanks so much and i bid you all a lovely evening.

Is it A Scandalous Pursuit: Scandalous Series, Book 3 (Volume 3) by Ava Stone? Not exactly what you described though :P
