Just finished The Measure of Purity by dolly3078 and really like the story. Does anyone have any Twilight/HP crossovers where E&B get their HEA together that they can rec'

Oh yeah, I've tried reading that one before, but it just wasnt that well written  Its just so difficult to find well written strong Bella fics.

i know what you mean.  i have a couple that aren't so canon - as in Edward bites right away.  Both Bella's are pretty strong and it takes Edward a bit to get forgiveness - at least in the first one.

It takes place during book 4.  And the Cullens are canon. 

I've looked at a few others, but have not been able to get into them.  And sorry, I can't do Bella and Severus.  Because really?  no, just no.  And even Bella/Draco.  No. No. No.

Ella, I am right there with you. E&B have to get there HEA together. The only other cross over I have read is Vendetta at Twilight by Muggleinlove and I enjoyed it too. I have a hard time finding crossovers where E&B get their HEA together. They can start out with other people, but have to end up together for me to read the story.

Does anyone have a rec for something (good) that is similar to Shields of Power by thunderful? Wherein Bella grows up knowing about vampires and/or the Volturi, making her meeting/mating with Edward have a different set of issues. Must be E&B HEA.

I read SoP twice, and just tried something similar that made me want to poke my eyes out. It wouldn't have been tooooo terrible if it hadn't finished as basically incomplete marked complete. A sequel was promised but abandoned.

It didn't help that I read it on the heels of a fic that I was happy to see had been pulled so I didn't have to leave a review. The SPaGs were bad but consistent, so forgivable to me (Jas is always a solider; they always live in Folks, WA; etc.). It was Bella being an immature brat that drove me up the wall. I liked the plot idea, but the execution failed.

Yeah, windchymes makes great efforts to pulling Bella back from that NM depression edge and moving on. I'd try Distractions first (highly recommended) and the Keepsake next (it's a heart twister).

Another vamp Edward + human Bella worth checking out is Falling Beyond Redemption. It's canon through Eclipse ending, then Jacob goes OOC.

After reading your post, I spent 8 hours last night trying to remember this mating fic only to discover I was mixing up 2 fics - one of which you already read (PrincessRachael's My Mate).  I suck. However, along the way, I remembered a fic that kind of connects your query with OldSoul's.

So, I started reading Alynelovesyou'sYou are not allowed to view links. Register or Login, which has a really interesting AU. The vamps are a separate species that are super everything as usual, except they don't have the physical capacity for human speech (kind of like Ehd). Because of this, the humans think of them as very strong and fast animals. Pretty strange, but interesting and allows me to ignore the SPaGs (just ignore the ANs at all costs). About a third in so far and looking forward to seeing where this goes. The sequel is an active WIP.

I haven't read Bella Swan Kidnapper in awhile, so it might be time for a reread. That was a funny fic. You mentioned My Shiny Freak. Wasn't that the one where Aro keeps getting high ... with Jesus? 

I had to read something light after my two duds mentioned a couple of days ago so I dug out Antiques Roadshow by aerobee82 for a reread. So lovely. *sigh* I liked how the Volturi were involved, but weren't manipulative. And Bella was a bit older, so her decision process to become immortal was more complex. Bella was witty and more confident. Edward was more openminded. All around lovely.

I reread my shiny freak when I need a laugh.  Bella used to get high on marijuana when she was human so Jasper decides to give her the same feeling to try to calm her down. Next thing you know,  every one is getting high and Jasper is experimenting on different highs.  Just think about vampires who don't sleep getting high. Yeah, it's funny. Turns out Jesus likes to party. 

So I just finished Guarding Edward by katmom. There are around 10 short epilogues. I am almost done with them. I'm kind of losing interest because they are mostly other characters POV.  I guess it is a mating fic, but Bella is the 109 year old vampire and Edward is human. I think it is funny that I had just started rereading SoP when you posted this.  Still having a problem with the fact she thinks Phoenix is next to the water.  That has waves.  Because there might be a lake with rocky dirt for a beach.  But I doubt there are waves on a day you want to go there.  She also received 24 carat gold jewelry on her birthday.    LOL!  24 carat gold is so soft, I don't think it would last as a piece of jewelry.

Anyway.  I remembered a story I read where Bella lived with the Cullens.  Edward had gotten tired of the couples and taken off on his own.  He wasn't the virgin and was in an on/off relationship with Tanya.  He knew about Bella, but they never met.  It will have SPaG, but then again, SoP is full of SPaG.  No amazing powers though.  I think she is just a shield.
