This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

It doesn't look like it want's to work - it can be found under ffg's link to the index - that list of helpful links of hers - toward the bottom of the list.

This one is listed, but I remember remember looking for one recently that they didn't have listed. You know what's weird? When you read the published summary of some of these FF you think "THIS was once a fic?!"

Summary:
In December 1941, Charlotte Donahue is engaged to Nick Adler, a handsome, pre-law student at Georgetown University. Matthew doesn't just give Edward a run for his money, he kicks his arse! I think that a Discovery of Witches was amazing but Shadow of Night might have been my favourite, maybe,....yeah, I can't decide they were all good for different reasons, I just want a fourth book!

I loved Edward so much... but I'll admit that Matthew is pretty darn great! I've got to call them a tie though because I can't disrespect Edward by calling him second place!

Speaking of Matthew... are there any lemons in this series? or is it all fade to black for the most part? I'm just starting book 2.

What do you mean? What's wrong with second place? Do you know how many vampires there are out there? Second place is a good place to be

....I wholeheartedly say Matthew de Clairemont kicks Edward Cullen's arse; hard.

I can't remember a lack of lemons.....I remember it being very sexy, so there must be lemons, have they actually had sex yet? Jesus I've only just read those books and I have already started to forget the plot...

Thanks for your comments and I just deleted this story from my file. I too saved for future reading because it sounded interesting but I too do not need to see Edward and Bella portrayed this way. $:-\$ $:-\$

Thanks Loopy! And demaris... Marriage hasn't been consummated yet. When you finished book one you were griping because they still hadn't, so I wasn't holding my breath. They've messed around some but no details. LOL seems almost as tame as twilight so far.

They're so good so far! Glad I listened to all the praise! Haven't liked a PNR this much since The Fever Series. Did you read those by KMM?

Errr? I'm on my taptalk and I've just clicked on a link which I BELIEVE is the 152 thread. But did I really read a FF author admit to becoming a participant of an 'alternative' lifestyle?? Honestly I can't tell where the hell I am when I'm on this app...I might have stumbled into something else entirely...

Forgive me if this has been brought up already... but, is anyone else having issues with Calibre downloading/updating fics from TWCS? I had set up my password and username a long time ago and never had issues with Calibre updating my fics from TWCS. But since they did whatever they did over at TWCS the last couple of days, now Calibre keeps asking for my user name and password for each and every fic I have in my WIP library when I run my updates. How can I stop this? TIA

It took me forever to finally read Dusty (the ff) because I'd heard so much about it not being an HEA. And I'm a die-hard about an HEA. I was told that it depends on how you look at it. Some think it's a happy ending and some don't. After reading it I can tell you that I thought it was the perfect ending and I felt satisfied where it ended. So much so that I never read the future take. With that being said, the ending wasn't the traditional wedding and kids kind of thing which I was fine with. This story is so amazing that I would have been really disappointed if they'd taken the easy way out and made everything all hunky dory just to make the masses happy.

Its not just you demaris - I read the author's note too and went - this is more than I wanted to know about her. There are just some things that you do not post - especially in an author's note. If I ever ran into her - which I doubt will happen, the only thing going through my mind while I'm trying to make decent conversation will be that a/n about her alternative lifestyle. I can't remember - does she work for a living? If so - her co-workers must think she's gone around the bend. Or - if a potential boss found it - he/she would think twice before hiring her. Then again - maybe I'm just a fuddy-duddy (as in old). I think I'll go back to my book (Blood Magick by Nora Roberts).

I'll be disappointed if it ends in anyway other than exactly where it did in the ff. I thought it was perfect! Just enough closure for me!
