I've only ever seen or read bits and pieces of Gone With The Wind... I only just watched Pride and Prejudice recently too (the one with Colin Firth).   Speaking of good movies that made us cry.  Did you guys see the Notebook?  I'm not normally a Nicholas Sparks fan because his stuff is so sad, but I really liked that movie.  It was another one that had me rolling around on the floor crying my eyes out.    Demaris, did you watch The Fault in Our Stars yet? If not, add it to your list!
I added Beneath The Burn to my list... I think you recommended that one, right?  My angst-o-meter is running on empty and need a recharge! :D

I love love the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice! I think the version with Keira Knightley is also great (I especially liked the music in it) but no one beats Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy.
I watched The Nootebook long time ago but it didn`t impress me that much. I love Ryan Gosling of course but Rachel Adams not so much so maybe that`s why. Maybe I have to give it another chance.

Without doubt out of list above, Whitney My Love. Steer away from Shanna, that stupid girl drove me nuts!  :D :D And Paradise is played out in a 'contemporary' setting.

I did. That was really good. Yhere was a book recycled earlier, by Sebastian R....can't remeber his name. It was a fic I hear that's good. Have you read that one? I'm thinking about that one, if I can remember the name

Gabriel's Inferno by Sylvain Reynard previously known as The University of Edward Masen by SebastienRobichaud. I've not read the FF but book 1 of Inferno was absolutely fantastic, the rest not so much.

I know it`s stupid to quote you`re own post but to add to this rant something abut fav movie scenes - Mr. Darcy, impersonified by Colin Firth, bobbing out of the pond in a park, all wet...that`s the sight to die for  :o

Not sure, was The Hoff better in Knight Rider or Bay Watch? He's not really my type but was wondering....My cousin use to have a poster of Erik Estrada from Chips on her wall ( remember him?), well past the time when she should have know better  :D :D

Hmmmm, he was in leather and had Kitt so maybe Knight Rider had an edge over is hairy torso above orange trunks showcasing his spindly legs in Baywatch. ;D :D

OMG! Posters on walls! I had them on my tall cabinet facing my bed. I would pretend they could actually see me. Hence, i open the cabinet doors and stand between the opening when i am dressing up so they won't see me in my underwear  ::)  The guys on that cabinet were Greg Evigan, Rick Springfield, Scott Baio, Ralph Macchio and Erik Estrada  ;D Gosh, guess i was really a nerd  :P :D

I'm so gonna read BTB next as I just finished Mimi Jean Pamfiloff Fate Book & Fate Book Two, they were both pretty light with little drama and quite funny or I think they are, but that be cos I've only had 30 minutes sleep in the last few days so that might be why I laughed so much.  :D :D
So I need to read something angst ridden.  >:D

OK, I have to ask. Am I the only one that just doesn't get the whole...'let's post a picture of what I think the character in the book looks like' on Goodreads? I mean, just now I went to read a review of a book I'm interested in and the picture of the hero someone posted had man-boobs!!! The model might have been trying to pass them off as pecs but trust me, they were MAN-BOOBS  :-\ I don't mind when a reviewer posts a gif  to express emotion ( most of those are amusing) but I'm just not feeling the rest.... :P

I bought The Deliverier by Pam Godwin and I flounced. I will go back to it but it put my stomach in knots. I'm a HEA whore and it worries me. I found a fanfic that I'm reading, it's the Consequence of Miricles. It's pretty good.

Is beneath the burn better?

Angst wise? No. But once you've read it you are more able to girdle your loins through Deliver....Burn is more defined, a love story and so a little tiny bit more predictable and so, far as it goes, easier to swallow; though it's still a mouth full of glass and difficult to go down. I loved it!  :P

My replied "Nah, that's your cousin Tina you're thinking about!" (it's a running joke in our family, thank god Tina ain't bothered about it.), I went back to check the text I sent her and pmsl over it, so laugh away hun.  :D :D

I'm gonna re-read Deliver as well as I know I've read it but for the life of me I'm struggling to remember much about it and I wanna read the sequel as well.

OMG, watched the last episode of The Fall and I couldn't stop myself from crying (nothing new there  :P) it was brilliant.  :)

Did anyone from the UK or who watches TV online watch Black Mirror: White Christmas it was great and it had Jon Hamm looking his usual gorgeous self.

Not going to read the sequel of Deliver, I'm not happy with the way Van was suddenly turned around mid-story in order to make him the hero of Vanquish.....

I saw Hamm on Jonathan Ross with a full, big ass, beard, just as well I'm going through a  beard phase at the moment....

So can I read Deliver and not bother with Vanquish or do I really need to read both?

He only had stubble like he hadn't shaved for about a week but yum.  :P
I love him with a beard but I do love a guy with a beard, within reason as I can't do the ZZ Top look.  :P :P :D :D
