Ok, I'm wondering who the author and title and maybe the serie name is of this book.
I read it a while ago. It is part of a serie. I didn't read the first part and i know there were more after it. But I loved the second book, but couldn't find the first one in the serie, so I deleted it. And now I'm regretting it, because now I have more resources to find it.
In the second book she is the sister of the first books heroine. It has something to do with a prophecy. She is really stubborn and curious. I think that they found out in the first book that werewolves exist. And now in the second book she is trying to proof that vampires also exist. The alpha of the werewolves isn't really happy with this, because she doesn't listen to him and gets herself in all kinds of trouble. I believe that the book starts with her on the graveyard trying to proof that the vampires exist and he is there to save her, or something. I believe that he asks a friend, a vampire, to scare her, so she won't go hunting for vampires anymore. The friend does this, but finds out that she is his mate. After something happens the alpha also realise that she is his mate. In the end they form a triad, a trio, menage relationship.  They encounter some problems with people that try to hurt them, i think.. I really remember the romance part, but the rest is a bit foggy.
It is a menage romance book. I'm at the moment not certain if the guys are also in each other. I doubt it is a siren publishing, because I browsed all the sirens. I believe it is a part of a trilogy, but only one and two were out at that time. The prophecy was a big part of the plot.
I hope you can help me Aunt Aoi!

Is the author Anne Douglas and the book is Witch Vamp Were? (Huntingdawn #2)?
Wrath to Butch: That's you. You shall be called the Black Dagger warrior Dhestroyer....
Rhage: But you'll always be Butch to us, as well as hard-ass. Smart-ass. Royal pain in the ass... I think as long as there's an ASS in there, it'll be accurate.

What's the guy's sport? Is it basketball?

Might be the book you're looking for is Jason & Kyra by Dana Davidson.

Tell me if I'm right or wrong about this.

No it's not that.
I'm pretty sure the sports football but am not 100% on that.

Thanks for the suggestion though

Hi, I hope someone can help me.
I'm looking for two books.
Both of them are either Mills & Boon or Harlequin.

The first book is about a woman that used to be deaf until she had an operation, she studied law and became a lawyer.
While working one day she saw a boy in the middle of the street confused by all the traffic, she realized that he was also deaf and scolded his dad, which turned out to be an important client at her firm. He later told her boss that he will not be doing business with them unless her boss allows her to work for him as the boy's nanny. The boy's mother was a famous actress but did not want to associate with her child because she viewed his disability as a disgrace, however, when the woman took the boy to her doctor for the same operation she had and it was successful his mother suddenly wanted to do interviews with him to boost her career.

The second book is the first of a series, I think it's three books but I only remember two.
The book is about a former marine biologist that was injured in a shark attack on TV. One day she decides to take a walk on what looks like a deserted property, when suddenly she is attacked by a man. The man turns out to be the body guard of the crown prince of some small island.
The prince watched the news and decides to go back home, for some reason the lady goes with him. On their way the prince gets abducted by his own people and is made king. The island has a law where if a person agrees to marry someone it's as good as actually getting married, the king tricks the lady this way but in the end its fine, and she builds a clinic for re-constructive surgery and watches the dolphins play

Any help will be appreciated  ;)

Need a little help. I cannot remember the author or the title of this book and it's driving me crazy   >:(

It's a young adult novel. A girl starts at a new high school and becomes friends with the popular jock guy who has a nasty popular girlfriend. He catches the girlfriend cheating at a party and later begins dating the new girl. Further on the ex girlfriend claims to be pregnant with his baby and lies about how far along she is so she can have him back. The new girl finds out the truth and the actual baby daddy wants nothing to do with it.

That is all I remember about this book so any help with figuring it out would be appreciated   :)

Found it!!!!!! Found it!!!!!! Found it!!!!!!!

It was Aftershocks by Monica Alexander

Hello there friendly peeps,

I think its a fairly new book, i read one of the descriptions recently while browsing.

Its a Historical Romance, about a girl watching the guy having intercourse with one of the maids. He sees her then follows her and they have a confrontation, the guy is to wed her younger sister as apparently her "season" is up. The guy naturally is peaked by the girl and wonders if he chose the wrong sister.

Also, does anyone when know Hot Ticket from Olivia Cunning is coming out?

Thanks so much and i bid you all a lovely evening.

Ok, a new one. I know I have it in my booklist somewhere but can't find it (it's almost 3000 books in there) because i can't remember the titel or author.
It is a book from I think last year or something. He had an accident, she takes care of him al the time. Their best friends live with them or are almost always there. He has to have a major surgery and they are both pretty anxious for it. The two best friends try to make her life easier. By accident I believe it was they found out that it wasn't an accident that made him a cripple, but that he was hit by someone. And that someone is still stalking them. They are ridiculous rich. One of their best friends is the head of security. There are some moments where they almost have the stalker, but not fast enough. In the mean time he has his surgery which makes that he can walk and feel a lot more. The friends turn out to be a little bit more then just friends. Feelings developed and now they are a quatre. The stalker is a deranged male who believes that he did something wrong, but is completly innocent. I believe the stalker is caught, but shot dead because else he would have killed her and him.
I believe it is an siren book, m/m/f/m, but i'm not sure and can't find it in the list.

Anyone an idea which book it is? It keeps bugging me now I can't find it  :banghead:

Found! Someone in the Siren posts could help me

I read this book probably at least 10-15 years ago.  The book was not a romance novel or erotica, but a novel about a relationship.  For some reason, I keep imagining the heroine sitting on a window seat drinking tea, and also for some reason I think the setting may have been in San Francisco or somewhere near water.  (I may be completely wrong about that since I read close to a book a day.)  I also get the impression that the two live in the same building.

I want to repeat, this is not erotica, there may have been one sex scene, with no details.  I think the two, a man and a woman, may have been friends.  I think the man is gay and possibly his partner dies.  The woman is alone.  I think when the book ends that they are going to try to build a life together, but I would definitely not call it a romance novel.  More of a taking it day by day and companionship thing.

If anyone has a clue, I'd love to find out the title/author of this book.  I've checked every women's literature writer I can think of, who deals with thorny issues.

Yes, I got it from the library and I think it was a new release.  I am referring to the relationship book between a straight woman and a bereaved gay man. There were no explicit sex scenes, or anything like that - no erotica.  It was a relationship that was very difficult to build.  I can't believe I can't even remember the author!  At the time, I read mostly scifi, and not much romance at all.

Anyone knows which book has such a summary??   ^-^  :)

"I am spending time in jail for a crime I didn't commit, so I pass the time by showing the inmates I am the baddest of them all. But at night I teleport away to spend time with family and keep a watch over my girl. "

Hi,

I think this one is Fusion (The Patrick Chronicles #2) by Nicole Williams

Patrick Hayward isn’t used to feeling helpless. He’s a man of action used to controlling his destiny. But falling in love with Emma Scarlett had a way of upending everything, his sanity included.

Locked away as inmate number one-three-seven-oh for a crime he didn’t commit, Patrick spends his days slopping toxic sludge onto trays, resisting the urge to tear the scratchy, orange jumpsuit from his body, and making sure every hardened criminal behind bars with him knows he’s the biggest and baddest of them all. With the help of his handy little gift of teleportation, his nights are spent watching a certain green eyed goddess from the shadows.

When he discovers a couple of Inheritors stalking her one night, he realizes the obstacle of explaining who and what he is to Emma might not be the biggest battle they face.

Hope this helps,

zwbookworm

Looking for a book series I read as a teen, maybe 15-20 years ago, not sure if it was new then. Can't remember how many books were in the series, but I'm thinking it had at least 3 or more. It takes place in the US in the early 1900's, and the main character is a young girl who is the granddaughter of a gypsy woman with psychic powers.

In the first book, she is with a group of other girls from her school. Having caught a glimpse of her teacher's grading book, she's using that to play a trick on the other girls by pretending to see the future. During this, she suddenly blurts out that the younger brother of one of the girls has just been run over by a stanley steamer, which turns out to be true.

Can't remember if it's from the first book or one of the other ones,  but in another scene she's trying to prove to someone that her psychic powers are real. She has a vision about a boy trapped on the Titanic because he was too sick too leave his bed. When she returns to herself, she's holding the blanket from the boy's bed, which has the name of the ship embroidered on it. Both the blanket and her clothes are soaked with sea water. This makes a big sensation which reaches all the way to England, and the girl travels there with her boyfriend. While there, they visit a wax museum that has an exhibit based on her vision, only the people who made it got several details wrong. The two of them sneak in at night, remove the wax figures, and take their places.

I've been trying for ages to remember the title of this book but have been unsuccessful.

I'm pretty sure it was a Mills & Boon, Silhouette type book and I remember reading it while I was at university, so it was published prior to 1998.

The heroine is an artist, who as a child was kidnapped and kept in a dark room with rats. As a result she is now terrified of the dark, so she has her house completely lit up with flood lights and works all night on her art to stay awake (I think she was a painter) and sleeps during the day.
The Hero is a peanut farmer (of course!) who woos the heroine by giving her gifts over Christmas in keeping with the 12 days of Christmas poem. I remember she gets given a pair of lovebirds at one point and at different times he hires locals from the nearby town to cover the "lords are leaping" and "drummers drumming" sections of the poem and for "5 golden rings" she is given 5 thin gold rings that click together to become her wedding ring.

Thanks in advance!

Hudasee, thank you!  I think they did have sex, but it wasn't steamy.  Oddly enough, I remember thinking that it was odd that the author would write a book with that theme.  I also remember a book by Sue Monk Kidd nearby on the shelf - it may have been The Mermaid Chair or The Secret Life of Bees (her titles are wonderful).  However, this is no help because it was not either of these books or that author, although it does sort of pinpoint a beginning spot in time.  Now, if I could only remember the author!  One thing that struck me about the book was that neither character seemed to have high expectations of happiness, just possibly not to be as lonely.  They were making a serious effort to build emotional bridges with each other.  They were both single but had not always been alone.

I wish I could put a genre to this - it would be easier to search.  If you look up gay relationships, you get erotica.  :(

I need help with a book.

I don't remember much about the main characters, just that there was some sort of baby trafficking ring, and the H was somehow involved. I think he used to date/sleep with a lawyer involved with that ring. And I think a preacher and a teenager were involved. It's really sort of fussy.
I think H and h might have been lawyers as well.

Thanks!

ETA: I think H and h are/were opposing counsels or some sort of rivals. h is suspicious of pregnant ex lover, but H dismisses it as jealousy.
