Favorite novel to movie/TV series adaptations
« on: May 31, 2012, 12:21 AM »
Hi guys!  :)
Since one of Hollywood's favorite things to do right now is to adapt popular novels into movies or TV series. I thought it would be good idea to ask what your favorite novel to movie/ TV series adaptations are. It can be Ya/ fiction/ fantasy / romance etc..
I'd also like to know what upcoming novel adaptation are you excited about.
Which novel/novel series you want to be made into a movie or TV series.
Which actor/actress you want to portray the characters.
Which is your least favorite novel adaptation.

You could have more than one favorite or least favorite.

If people say they just love the smell of books, I always want to pull them aside and ask, To be clear, do you know how reading works?

Hmmm, I'm going to side with some other people here and say that some of my favourite adaptions are the Harry Potter and the LotR movies, the Bridget Jones movies. '

A series that I would really like to see turned into movies / a tv series is Kelley Armstrong's otherworld books and I would like for Paul Walker to play Clay (and me playing Elena, though I may be pushing it a bit there...lol), Keanu Reeves to play Jeremy and the others...hmmm, I will have to think about that.

And ooooh... another series that I would really, REALLY like to see turned into movies / tv series are kristen Ashley's Rock Chick books !!! Not sure there are any actors worthy to fill the shoes of those characters though...  :D Allthough Joe Mangello and Shemar Moore do come to mind here...
