Your Favorite Fictional Rediculously Hot Guys
« on: September 18, 2011, 09:55 AM »
So I am sure there are TONS of fictional hot guys you absolutely love. Some might be badboys and some sweet and cheesy ;) No matter who, do share with us about some of them, may be others who didn't get a chance to read about them yet, will get to know.

Rules Of Thread: Please don't make requests for books here, use request board for it and any requests will be removed without notice. That's it, that's the only rule.

Enjoy :)

I have finally given in... I keep hearing all this talk about Kellan.  I was wondering who he was when someone mentioned he was from "Thoughtless".  So now I'm reading it.  I'm about 40% into it now, and so far it is really good.  I've already teared up and yelled at the screen!

Thanks for getting me interested in this book guys!

:D Yes. I was a thoughtless virgin!  Can you believe it?
I kept seeing it pop up in my GR recommendations list, and then I kept hearing you guys talk about it, so I had to check it out.  Its great so far.
When I went to GR, it said it was "Young Adult" and I was thinking "hmm I think I want a little more steam than what a young adult book can give me."  But it's got a little steam to it.

Hello duckies,

I've posted a list of my candidates a couple of weeks ago, so I don't know if I'm allowed to add a new entry to an old list. I hope all the darlings contributing to this thread will forgive and bear with me. The ueber-hottie, who has just come to my attention and deserves a nomination, is Jordan Hays, the hero in Candice Proctor's  historical romance, 'The Bequest'. This Apollo is to be found in a late 19th c. brothel in Colorado, a brothel the heroine, a well-educated, prim ex convent girl, has inherited from her mother. He gives her (and us) the thrill of his presence and tidal waves of excitement, every time he walks into a scene, or opens his mouth.Their exchanges are wonderful, the sex when it comes is as it should be in a story of this kind, the love powerful and fleshy but also somehow elusive, and on top of that, the reader will be able to brush up on Shakespeare. Jordan is not only tall, dark and handsome (I mean very handsome, 'down girl' kind of handsome), he's also bookish and the best gun this side of the Rockies. I, for one, don't know many hotties who can quote from Shakespeare and the Song of Solomon, relax by reading William Blake, know the difference between a fugue and a sonata, be the fastest gun in the West, and look so gorgeous in their birthday suit! And as if all that is not enough, he's also  tormented. I rest my case.

And I still have Mr Kellan Kyle to look forward to, ah...the delicious torment of postponing the encounter!

YAY!!! You've read it too..Not many people have read The BM trilogy..More people need to read this.

I love The Black Magician Trilogy..Sonya is one of the best heroines, she doesn't go completely gaga over a guy she's just met and Akkarin..sigh..I love him, the way it ended was sad but still satisfying.

I cried so much in the end! :(
Now I'm waiting for the third book in the Traitor Spy trilogy to read it all at once.
Have you read her Age of five? I've liked that trilogy as well, though not as much as BM.

I've read The Age of Five trilogy which was good but I definitely preferred BMT.. In AoF I was a bit put off with
Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

I've read The Ambassadors' Mission and I loved Sonya's POV but I didn't like Lorkin all that much, I've not read The Rogue yet, it's still onmy TBR pile.. I actually got The Rogue on netgalley but never got round to reading it..so ended up buying the HC.

Sorry!! I even thought to myself not to mention anything and then I forgot about 30 seconds later..Duh..I hate it when that happens - total brain freeze.

Cassie Palmer series and Dorina Basarab series by Karen Chance is brilliant.. if you like Chloe Neill, Devon Monk, Ilona Andrews and Nalini Singh then you'll love Karen Chance's books.. both series are still ongoing..There's been 5 CP books and 2 DB books so far. Cassie Palmer books are about a young woman who's a clairvoyant and time traveller and she's coveted by the vampires and the mages because of her powers.. She's really fun and likeable and there's a love triangle as well.. but it's a good love triangle, that's well written. I did find it a little hard too get into the CP books at first because it was a bit confusing.

I like teacher/student relationships as long as the heroine is age 17 at least before she meets the teacher/love interest otherwise I find it too cringeworthy..To be fair AoF was pretty well executed even

It's okay, spoiler alert is there for a reason. I should not touch when I know what it contains. Hard to control myself though. :/
I'll add Chance's books to my TR list then. Sounds interesting. :)
As for teacher/student relationships, ah well, I don't mind them if they're only that in that stage, especially if the student is young/er. If they turn into something er, more, that's just wrong. :S

Psyche, start fifty shades like right now! You won't regret it  ;)
8)

I'm reading Fifty Shades now and O.M.G. I'm in love with Christian Grey. He's dreamy! I couldn't put the iPod down. Anastasia is so lucky. Tsk.

So here's my unofficial list:

*Christian Grey (Fifty Shades)
Matt Farrell (Paradise)
Zach Benedict (Perfect)
Garrett Kelly (Hidden Away)
Jack Travis (Smooth Talking Stranger)

*I just have to put him on top of my list.
