The first one I read like this was The Golden Giants Tour by walkingwithgiants. It's freakin' hilarious and Emmett is Bella's older brother. I just got so lost in the story and was laughing so hard!

In response to the question about jenn733 and the removal of her fics...not sure I was reading her other story under the smae moon which is one i have been waiting forever for her to update..I know from reading that story in the author notes and following twilighted under the same moon thread that she was having some major personal problems i think related to an illness in the family or just alot of bad luck they never clarified int he thread but i think it was talked about on her twitter at one time.

I am hoping because she didnt delete under the same moon she will update and finish it as she vehemently promised us she would when things got better.Either way she was a very generous author and wrote some great stories I wish her the best!

Jen's mother has been suffering from Parkinson's Disease for a while now, and I know it has been a struggle for her while caring for her.   It's so sad to watch someone you love deteriorate like that and it takes a toll on every aspect of your life.   Her twitter is also gone, and her blog hasn't been updated in over a year.    Her last update for Under "The Same Moon" was a long time ago, and my PM's to her have been unanswered.    She has always maintained that publishing her own work someday was her dream, so even though I hate to say this, I am wondering if she finally decided to do that instead of continuing with fanfiction?   My other thought is that her mom passed away and she's just dealing with real life and getting through that?

I find it odd that there is no explanation for her removing the subsequent chapters of her stories that were complete.   She did leave the unfinished UTSM up for now though, so perhaps she will come back and finish it even if she is publishing?   I guess we'll have to wait and see...    If by chance you happen to see this Jen, we wish you well and hope everything is OK...

I'm looking for a WIP that hasn't updated in a while and I can't remember the name or author. It's possible it's been pulled. I hope someone here will know the fic I'm talking about.

It takes place in a mental institution around the turn of the century. Carlisle is a psychiatrist (the field of psychiatry is very new-this is a big part of the fic, the methods that were being used at the time) and a vampire who becomes the head doctor. Edward is one of his patients-he has been committed by his parents for being homosexual. Edward and Carlisle develop feelings for each other and as Edward's treatments become more brutal Carlisle realizes he must get him out of the hospital before it's too late. This is about where it left off, as I remember. It was really well-done and I wish the author would come back and finish it-does anyone know this fic? Or possibly have saved what there was of it? Thank you

That breaks my heart 2Lovely! I hate to hear of other suffering. I spent many many years taking care of the elderly it's not an easy task (and they were not my relatives, but I loved them all as if they were) I'm keeping her in my thoughts!

I can understand Jen's struggles with Parkinson's my BF who is 45 has Young Onset Parkinson's Disease.  It's quite a struggle to see your loved ones who are so full of life Deteriorate in front of you.  He was dx'd at 32, he's had it 13 yrs now.  He has managed it pretty well but it will become progressively worse.   I wish her the best in her RL, I pm'd her but now I understand why she hasn't answered in of them.

Okay, so I just said the F word in front of my really young nephew.   I've noticed that I'm using it more now that. I read it every where.  So my question is, does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to change out the F word in stories to something more acceptable without converting everything to word first?

lol Sorry you dropped the F bomb in font of your nephew I do have a sailor mouth but I try to restrain myself when the young and impressionable minds (aka my nieces) are around you can try and substitute it like Tami said
