I don't read wips either. I just read the first chapter and if it keeps me interested then I check the follow button and add it to my spreadsheet. Unfortunately, these wips take forever to complete which is why my JxB tbr pile is now all wips. I still don't mind adding wips, but I would def want completed recs, esp AU/AH. It's hard finding good All-Human JxB stories

ETA: I just finished Sunshine. Thanks for the Aristotle rec.

2ETA: yes, I love Oracle Vas. I'll be squeeing like a little teeny bopper when Conversations is complete too.

Hello everyone ! No I haven't fallen off the face of this earth, I am still surviving although work is trying to kick my bullocks.

I am trying to keep up here but sometimes after working over 14 hrs a day, I get home, go through the mail, tidy up a little, see what is going on with our last son at home, and then talk to hubs wherever he is in the world, take a bath, and eat supper, I am down to 4 hrs before I have to get up and do it all over again.

Tami, I hope your back is better.

More and more I am using my iPad more than my laptop when I get home. Which means, it is harder to upload anything here, but I only have bath time to scan stuff anyway for awhile. Work should calm down by the end of the year, I just have a ton on my plate.

One question for you all. I now have lots of stuff on my iPad that I have downloaded and it sits in iBooks. Anyone successful in getting them from your iPad to your laptop, so I don't have to find, re-download again ? Pdf's I am able to email, but the epubs......what do I do ?

I can only go by my iPhone, if it is in ibooks when you sync with iTunes it should end up in your iTunes folder. At least on a PC. After that, you should be able to copy it wherever.

Hopefully that's how it works with the ipad as well

If you do what Ella said - it should work with your iPad as that's what I do.

Hi Rdmickey and Ella.

Yes, like the iphone, when you sync the ipad with your computer your downloaded stuff will appear in your itunes library. However, i do the extra step of copying the book into my hard drive. This way, when i delete a fic i've read from my ipad AND my itunes library, it stays deleted (after saving it in my PC hard drive, of course). This helps me free up space in my ipad. Whenever i delete from my ipad, once i sync it, the deleted fic goes back to the ipad. Unless i make a conscious effort to unselect in itunes or delete all together, that will continue to happen (deleted but goes back after syncing).

I can't find it in any of the normal places, but if anyone can pull old webpages, just about all the chapters appear in a search for it. Just that they go to ffnet and the "can't find story" page.
