Hey guys, I'm in the mood to read a super angsty cheating fic and need some recommendations. The darker the better;)

When the site decided that no published books could be uploaded they okay'd fan fiction.

I think mainly because it is a grey area. The stories are being made using characters, places, personalities and what not that have already been established by a copyrighted work of some sort. No permission was ever given by the creators of the original work and fan fiction can be construed as copyright infringement.  The ongoing debate is the dispute over if fan fiction does or doesn't fall under creative commons, especially since so many ff authors are now being published. But technically speaking it is an infringement of the original work.

That is why we are allowed to upload it here.

However if the ff author complains our lovely mods will remove all stories by the complaining author to keep the peace.

So yes you can upload it but it doesn't mean it will stay uploaded.

How about some recs. that do not involve cheating. I have been reading Dusty and Wisp and those two drain the life out of me. I want good writing, not too much angst , a B&E hea and funny.

Hello all,

  I've been trying to recall a story I read a few years ago, but I'm having no luck.  It was when I first started reading fanfic (picture it, Sicily, 1929... or maybe it was around 2008 on Twilighted).  I can't remember the title or author.  I just know that it was finished.  I think I even have a copy, but I can't do a search for it.  Here's what I think I remember:

1.  It's an Edward/Bella all-human story
2.  I think they might both be teachers (Bella is the new hire)
3.  I also think Edward had a band on the side
4.  Bella grew up in love with Jacob who never saw her as more than a friend/little sister
5.  Her first time might have been in a car with Mike (possibly to make Jacob jealous and it only lasted a few seconds)
6.  At some point she goes home and runs into Jacob who is now interested all of a sudden.  I don't think Edward could come because he was either traveling with his band or recording an album (?)
7.  Here's where it falls apart - I think that Bella might have violated some confidentiality agreement she signed for her job by talking to Jessica who lived in her apartment complex (I might be remembering this from another story).  It resulted in her being fired (?)
8.  I think it might be a little lemony.

This was before I started putting stories on alerts or in my favorites lists.  Those are the hardest for me to remember and search for on my hard drive.  Any help would be greatly appreciated
