Dusty's not complete yet. Just 3 more chapters left, I believe. There was no update last Thursday and no update yesterday, so hopefully we should have one next week.

12.21.12 and Little Boy Lost were never fanfiction according to the authors. They were both original fictions. I'm afraid that Chances and Whirlwind are two lost fics. Lots of people have been looking for them, but no one has had any luck finding them.

Little Boy Lost was a fanfic that definatelystaying started and pulled at 3 chapters to be published. I'm appalled the author is stating that it's original (or had original origins). I don't read much slash, but I do know that LBL started as fanfiction. There was even a banner created for LBL.

FYI, 12.21.12 was also a fic written by hopeful wager. What is going on with these authors??

ETA: just got 2 images left on the Twilighted forums about LBL, but not sure how to embed them. Can someone provide the codes?

Thanks, I just started following it. I had really liked abstract way's Animate Me, but somehow totally missed that she had started a new story this summer.

Yea i found some stuff yesterday about LBL but J.P. Barnaby said on her facebook page it was not a fanfiction but I found otherwise on Twilighted forum.

Story Bashing: This is a reposting of my first story—Fall & Rise. I will post 1-2 chapters a week, beta'd by HollettLA and pre-read by Kitty

For me to really like this story, I'd probably have to rewrite all of it, which I have no desire to do haha. But since sooo many have asked me to post it again, I caved and stuck to minor changes. Actually, I wouldn't call them minor. With Lisa's help, I've corrected the grammar fuck-ups, and I've also changed timelines, some events, and a massive amount of details. But with that said, the plot it basically the same.

As obsessed as I with accuracy and credibility, it kinda pains me to have to tell you that this story is loaded with "creative liberties" *cringes.* Okay, not loaded, but there are a few.

Fuck, I'm really sitting here talking shit about my own story. *crosses off 'motivational speaker' from list of possible jobs*

Positive things… I have a soft spot for this Edward, and I remember many thinking the same

Yup, it was. Posted 1st chapter and then deleted to rework as "original" on textnovel. I was also reading it at the same time. I understand what's she saying, but just because you didn't post the whole thing or pulled it asap, doesn't mean the derivative was not there in its origins.

In a closed group, Killian said herself (last year) to promote her published book, 12.21.12

Edited to delete Killian's message/image because it was from a private group and I got just got shit for posting it. But yes, she herself called 12.21.12 fanfic. although she wholeheartedly disagrees because she completed it on another site.

Totally agree and she is so willing to bend over backwards to share her stuff how awesome is that!!!!! I have read the first ch of Fall & Rise of her revamped version and I am already hooked. Even though I have the old story I dont think I will read it. I want the fresh stuff.

Anyway that is what I am trying to tell myself. I am going to try with all my might not to crack open the original PDF. $:-\$
