Ther is about 100 pages missing from the first thread  I was slowly making my way through it and BAM! Gone. Maybe stuff that wasn't important was taken out. *crosses fingers*

I hope.... Well at least I went trough it already. Took me a few days because I was reading the new posts as well 

I've seen a few posts from the moderator's that they are doing "Clean Up" I don't think that includes removing our posts. I'm hoping that maybe there was an update that maybe allowed more posts per page and condensed our thread?

Mmm I hope... I read about the clean up I think they are condensing the posts on the uploads?. At least I think they are doing that, not sure though

I can't find anything good to read that is totally canon 

I'm having some issues, now it's been a long long long time since I've been in school. So I am asking you ladies which one of these is correct (because if I don't read it as "Edward and I" I get frustrated)

A. Me and Edward (or whoever)
B. Edward and Me
C. Edward and I

Which one is correct?

A) The house was left to Edward and me. (or me and Edward)
B) Edward and I went to the store.

The way I learned to figure out the correct one is to leave Edward's name out of the sentence, and if it was right, then put Edward back in...

The house was left to me. ("I" wouldn't sound right)
I went to the store. (you would never say "Me" went to the store)

Make sense?

That is just what I was going to say.  Great minds and all....

I've noticed more and more that writers misuse the me and I in stories.  Drives me crazy because instead of continuing reading, I have to stop and figure out why something is not right by dumping the "and 'other' ". 

No delete button - though frankly I would love one.  Just the modify.

huh  that is strange, you guys don't have a "remove" option for your own posts? I have one for every post on this thread because I started it, (I don't use it) I usually have one (unless the thread is locked) on my own posts elsewhere as well.

There used to be one for your own posts, but not anyone else's.  It's not there on my screen anymore.

yep, your right i went to another board and posted and the only options I have were "quote" and "modify" hmm wonder why they took that option off?

The delete button got removed due to a couple of issues. Sorry. If you need a post removed hit the report button and a mod will delete it or if the original poster is a expert they can remove it for you too.

Thank you for letting us know. Are they condensing threads as well. We've lost about 20 pages on this thread. I don't think anything is missing but the page numbers though.

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to let you know about a couple of things that may be old news, but I've been so busy I missed these little snippets:

Windchymes, one of my favorite writers, has gotten a contract with TWCS to publish her original work.   While I don't think she's going to take her fanfics and turn them into originals, you might want to grab her stuff while you can because she may choose to/be forced to take down her stories from FF.net.    The Keepsake was update in June and there are only a few chapters left.

Georgygirl, author of The Weight of Words and it's sequel, The Tongue Set Free, is going to be removing her stories by the end of the summer as she moves out of fanfiction into original works.
