I was wondering I usually get word of mouth that these authors are pulling do you guys see these notes? it would save us some time if we posted about authors pulling. Facebook is my source for some of it.

I'm with ficfangirl - Please post it here if you hear of any author's who are pulling.

I don't hear much more than you do, since the only facebook site I really look at is yours LOL!

Okay, I will only say this once because I am so sick of all the hate and refuse to remain silent any longer. Yesterday, when I made a post about my new book Starlight (which I did ONLY because people asked me to let them know when it would be released), some people attacked me for removing Frontline (after it was posted in its entirety for 6 weeks for anyone who wanted to read it to do so). I removed it to edit it and had the intention of reposting it. After being called a piece of shit, a whore, a manipulator, a liar, and a ton of other horrible things yesterday via PMs and Goodreads (meanwhile my post was about Starlight NOT Frontline!!!), I decided to remove Frontline completely. I wrote the story for free and for fun, and fulfilled my end of the bargain by finishing it and making it available for everyone who chose to read it. I didn't "pull to publish" or give up on the story. Yet this is the thanks I get. Sometimes I wonder why I bothered in the first place.
I realize the majority of you are super supportive. nice, and respectful. This is for the other small group of people who think it is all right to hide behind their computers and spew vicious things at authors. They are the ones to blame for Frontline's disappearance, not me.

Totally agreed with you. It's the author's right to post , repost, change, or delete their 'free' stories on fandom. I also support their right to publish and admire them for putting themselves out there for criticism. A lot of stories here on fandom are really amazing and deserved to be published.

These people act like the author is forceing them to buy the book. The Author in my opinion only pulls when the publisher suggests it. It is their right to pull personally.

Some of these individuals need to grow up in my opinion there is no need for such nastiness. So you don't agree there is no need to start name calling like a bunch of children and they like to call themselves adults.

Please. I agree with everything you said.

ficfangirl, I did not recognize any of the unknown stories so am at a loss about who the authors are. I will continue to try to find out. Hopefully these mysteries will be solved.

When I agreed to try my hand at an index, I told Drypen I was afraid to try since everyone in the past who had said they were going to try to impose some order on the Twilight fanfiction threads disappeared soon thereafter. I thought the whole project was jinxed. I'm happy to still be here...so far. *knocking on wood*

Hello! I have been looking for a particular fanfic for a while now, but I cannot remember the name. It was one I read when I first began reading fanfic a couple of years ago. Here is what I remember: Bella is in foster care and is taken in by the Cullens. Canon pairings exist. An aunt shows up and takes her to London. Eventually, Bella returns to Seattle and lives in a house that has been divided into two townhouses. The other side is rented to the Cullen kids. Edward is with Tanya in the beginning, but the others can't stand her. She is evil around all but Edward. They reconnect with Bella. They pull practical jokes on Tanya, eventually getting Edward to see her true colors. Bella and Edward get together. HEA

I would appreciate any help in figuring out the name/author of this story. Thanks!
