It's still a WIP unfortunately, and hasn't updated in ages, since the author had some real life problems and health issues.

But, she recently mentioned that it should be updated again soon, and I for one can't wait. It's a pretty amazing and unique story, and I hope to see it finished one day.

Yep, she popped up on ADF the other day to tell us that she plans on working on the story again after December 17th. So, we'll hopefully have more soon!

I'm not sure if she updated after what I have saved, I have 24 chapters

Thanks so much! Trying to keep up with 3 different sites and copying all updates just in case just became too much for me! Totally missed this one and the fact that she pulled. I have a lot of her one-shots but I think this was her only multichapter...?

Hi. J and i are on our way home for a while. being surrounded by family is becoming too much, and we need some space. i haven't seen a tenth of all your posts, but know that i'm very thankful for you all. i've seen avi changes, poems, hours of silence, songs, tweets, well wishes, questions, requests about helping...
truth be told, i dont have a single clue about much of anything right now. but i do have a feeling i'm going to need you all to remain the same. i need my fandom family and FB to be the fun place i visit every day. while writing isn't on my mind, nor will it be for...idk how long. so, what i'm asking you is to just be here. i'm not looking for attention, and i honestly don't want this blown up. i don't need reminders. that said, i'm SO grateful for how you've all come together for me. you're all so amazing. writing is my own little world, i'd go nuts without it, so i'm not gone. i just need space and understanding. and i will answer your questions when i have time and heart for it. we dont even have all the answers ourselves, so..
just knowing that i have your support is more than enough, i promise.

PS: feel free to spread this around *quietly*. i mean it when i say that i need you to remain the same. you will probably be my safe haven more than ever before. this whole thing hasnt settled, not one bit, and i dont even know if i'm in shock or what it is. but, regardless, the candles remind me of how amazing you all are, but they will also serve as a reminder i don't need. i can't thank you enough, and i hope you don't take it the wrong way. everyone needs to grieve in their own way; i'd never tell you to sweep anything under a rug. just dont feel bad when you go back to normal in, lets say, very soon? It then cuts to the first chapter which takes you back in time when Bella meets Carlisle on a plane, I think she's going to Italy to study..food? Maybe? I have this story somewhere in my vault but for the life of me I can't remember the name so can't FIND IT! How stupid is that?! It's one of those stories you read the first few paragraphs and think "Oooh, yep want to read that, save" then get so distracted with others you forget all about it.....Any help will be greatly appreciated
