Hi Tenshi - The story uploaded (as per index) has 29 chapters. My version has 39 chapters (10 more chapters after the epilogue - a little bit strange... Does your copy have the same number of chapters?

Here's my copy of Nightingale with 39 chapters. I can remove if this version has already been uploaded somewhere...

Mine has 39 chapters too.
When she had writer's block while writing the Bear, she added new chapters to Nightingale and Parma High.

My apologies to Tenshi - I usually compare the new upload to the old before I detach an attachment. However, I shouldn't have to do that. If you are uploading a better, or more complete version of a previously uploaded story, you should clearly state in your upload why yours is an improvement on the earlier upload. If it's a different format from the previous upload, that is obvious. If it requires a comparison of the two - tell us in your post so your attachment doesn't get detached and no one yells at you for repeating an upload. Thanks!

Hi! Yes, my copy too was of 39 chapters. I didn't check the story uploaded as per index because it was a story still published on FF and I thought that only stories pulled were uploaded here. When I saw that no one added Nightingale, yet, I uploaded my copy.

It's supposed to be only pulled stories (or stories not otherwise easily obtained) so we're not wasting server space, but that rule was not always followed, especially in the earlier threads. That's one of the reasons why you still have to check the Index and run a search on this thread (since the Index runs about a month behind) before you upload. Your willingness to contribute is appreciated!

It's been a very rough year for me, personally as well as on line, and I found I needed to protect myself a lot more than I had been doing. Too much of my life was exposed in my stories and I decided I needed to pull that in.

OMG! You're Here! I just want to let you know again how much I have enjoyed your stories. You are one of my favorite authors and was incredibly nice to me with advice. I wish you the best of everything and hope one day you will return. Your stories are wonderful and I will miss the anticipation of updates from you.

who is quinn?

Quinn or Quinnlark is a lovely young lady that is currently on FFN. She has written an original short story called, "Hello, LAlaland." Yesterday, she was offered a publishing deal. She was so excited and it's well deserved. A very sweet and caring lady. I wish her the best of everything.

Thank you for writing your stories and sharing them with us! The Mail Order Bride/Bear Valley Ranch saga and Nightingale are two of my all time favorites. I love historical fics, and you write them so well.

I fell in love with your stories after reading Mail Order Bride and Bear Valley the sequel...I love mail order bride stories, and they are one of the few (another is Amish romance) I will read with no paranormal in them. These were some of the first fanfics I ever read, I was late to learn about fanfic so reading your stories was something that got me hooked.

Bella babysits for Emmett and Rosalie and somehow Edward knows them.

Edward is 22 and Bella is 17.

I also recall Edward going to Charlie after Charlie forbids (or something like that) Edward and Bella's relationship.

If anybody the name of this fic or author, you'd so much help.

JamesRamsey has said that she will be posting a short sequel to Insecurities, before she leaves the fandom.
