Hi everyone, I hope I am doing this right. I remember reading a Bella/Edward story where Edward had become a reclusive rancher after his wife Tayna died. Small town girl Bella works as an accountant at Emmett's store. Edward bumps into Bella at a bar and ends up dropping her off at her apt. They slowly develope a relationship until Bella is let go form Emmett's store and has to find a job. Edward steps up and offers bella a job, they work together and start to date.

I can't remember the name of this story to finish it. Thank you!

Looking for this college fic. It begins with Bella either meeting Edward at the park or her going to his dorm/frat to tell him she's pregnant. On her way there she's giving herself a pep talk while at the same time asking herself how she go into this situation. It flashbacks to the night she meet & had a one nighter with Edward.. They had hooked up at a party a few weeks before. I believe it was both their first time. Bella's for sure. The scene that really plays out in my mind is that of Bella & Edward sitting on a park bench discussing the pregnancy. Edward is kinda freaked out. He tells Bella he consider his roll or that he'll support her decision but when he gets up leaves Bella doesn't hear from him again for a few weeks. I think there was also a blow up when he told his family. His sister (Rose?) being the nastiest about it. It take Edward a while but he finally comes around.

Any ideas???

Hey wondering if someone can help me find a fic. I read it on ff.net and want to read it again. Bella is a parole officer and has a shootout in a shopping centre with james her parolee and she gots shot in the shoulder. Edward is a doctor and is trying to help the wounded public but when he sees bella as the chance to stop james he treats her instead. Cant actually remember much else sorry xx

It was written by hollstar. She pulled it incomplete yesterday. Sorry but I don't habe it. She wrote on her profile:

"If you're here looking for 'Tough Break' I've pulled it... As my first attempt at any writing I jumped in without fully being prepared:

Prepared for how the story would go - I'd only pre-written the first 3 chaps, and just kind of let the rest flow. And I didn't like where it flowed. Chapter 11 went really 'Patricia Cornwell' and I didn't like it, and I'm sure most of the readers didn't either. Just did not fit with where I wanted the story to go. I'm sorry for anyone that was offended or really didn't cope with what I wrote. I wish that hadn't happened.

And I wasn't prepared for how much it puts yourself out there. There have been so many amazingly encouraging people out there. But also out there are those that are not quite so encouraging. I don't expect everyone to love my writing - I don't love it all, so that's cool. But the harsh words hurt. And I wasn't really quite prepared for all that. So, me being a little bit over-sensitive... I don't feel like I'm quite ready for that.

'Tough Break' needs a lot of work. I need to rework a lot of stuff, definitely need a pre-reader and all that stuff I should have done the first time around. Well, we live and we learn. One day I might be OK to go on with it, but not today.

So I'm trying to find a fanfic I read a while ago, which seems to be evading me. It's a Twilight fic that loosely follows the Grey's Anatomy plot in the beginning, where Bella is either a surgical fellow or resident, I believe focused on cardio. Her mother was a surgeon as well, and is married to the Chief of the hospital, Phil. She sleeps with Edward and then finds out she has to work with him, and her family tries to help him win her over. Throughout the story she's writing in a journal, talking about why she wouldn't date Edward. Charlie and Sue are together as well, and if I recall correctly, Rosalie is their daughter. Angela is pregnant for most of the story.

That's all I can really remember. If anyone knows the title and could help me out, I would really appreciate it.

I believe it is this story Swan's Guide to Being Single And Staying That Way by bitterharpy, and it is still on fanfiction.
